very strong. Being born and brought up in India I feel a great connection with my
mother land. So after completing my education in Australia, I will definitely come
back to India to join my family members. Being a responsible son, I want to be
capable to take care of my family and take my father’s responsibilities on my
shoulders. Also in India, I have a very good opportunity to be a successful person
due to the scope of my chosen field of studies.

Australia so I can get valuable experience there. That’s why I am choosing RMIT for
my higher studies.
Research about other study options in Australia: Before finalizing this university, I
have also searched for many other Australian Universities which are providing my
desired course. In my search, I found that RMIT University, Queensland University of
Technology, University of sunshine coast and Griffith University. RMIT University is
a young institution. The undergraduate percentage of RMIT University is 79.80%,
Queensland University of Technology have 74.9%, University of sunshine coast have
74.6%, Griffith University have 76.2% of undergraduate students which are less as
compared to RMIT. RMIT also have a high international student ratio of 46.3% while
%, Queensland University of Technology have 15.7%, University of sunshine coast
have 11.2%, Griffith University have 21.3% of overseas students. It shows that RMIT
University is highly preferred by international students for their higher studies.
According to QS world ranking, RMIT ranked at 250th position, Griffith University is at
325th rank. While UniSA and QUT have some better rankings than RMIT but the
tuition fee at these universities very high as compared to RMIT. By choosing RMIT
University, I am choosing a world-class experience with all the required facilities at
very affordable costs. So, it is the best place to study in Australia.
Research about the potential circumstances in Australia: Australia is one of the top
three countries for student destination as it has 8 of the top 100 universities and
best colleges in the world. The course structure, curriculum and infrastructure
available in Australia and are the latest and also the faculty is up to date with result
oriented motive. Further, Australia has an international reputation as a provider of
quality education and globally recognized. It offers a highly efficient learning
environment which provides excellent study opportunities and support services for
international students. Australia provides a unique kind of education and a learning
style that encourages one to be innovative, creative and think independently.
Australia has tropical climate similar to India which would help me to adjust easily in
a different continent. Australia has a moderate, highly educated culture with a thrust
for knowledge and research. Australian government also promotes the international
students by providing 200 million dollar scholarships per year. I have chosen
Australia for many reasons; at first Australia’s degree is recognized worldwide and
especially in India. The graduates from Australia are very successful in finding jobs
and hold prominent positions worldwide. Due to Australian Qualification Framework
(AQF), Australian qualifications are recognized by international employers and
leading educational institutions around the world. Australia’s approach towards
education is based on individuality and fresh thinking.
Research about the city I am going to start my studies in: Melbourne: As it will be
my first time when I will be leaving my family nest and will study in Australia, so I am
looking forward for a pretty mind-blowing life experience. Melbourne is world’s one
of the top international student cities and also an education hub. Many of top
Australian universities are located in Melbourne. If I talk about weather conditions,
Melbourne weather is good. I believe that by living in a highly advanced city like
Melbourne, I will be introduced to a variety of new cultures and a highly independent
student life. Melbourne does have a rather international composition, and many
cultures are well represented by things like social clubs, restaurants, and places of
worship etc.
Research about Study Options in my Home Country, India: Since I have completed
my schooling from India, I am well aware of the education system of my country.
And, as per my research, I found some colleges such as Delhi University, Shri Ram
College of Commerce, Loyola College and Hindu college. Firstly, the entry is very
difficult to a good institute even if one has good marks and the cut off these colleges
is around 95%-97%. Moreover, the Indian education system is based on the
completely outdated syllabus which fails to deliver the proper education to students.
Further, there is a caste system and each caste holds different quota levels and the
admission criteria are very high because of the high population and we know India is
the 2nd largest country in the world. Also, people follow the rat race system and in
India, practical knowledge is very less and some college have labs but they don’t use
it for practice. So that’s why I don’t choose India for my higher education.
Research about available Study Options in Other countries apart from Australia:
Being one of the top education destinations the fees of the American Universities are
among the highest in the world. I found that Universities in the USA comes with high
tuition fees, as an example Princeton University $45320 per year, University of
Chicago $53460, Stanford University $16329 which is more than Australian
Universities. Also, most of the USA colleges require that you take one or more
admission tests such as SAT, ACT and TOEFL which are not available in other
countries. While I was searching about Universities in the UK I found that there are
blacklisted institutes in the UK such as East London based Cambridge College of
learning etc which sold several thousand fake degrees in business management and
The Manchester College of professional studies etc. While reputed universities in the
UK also providing the course with really high tuition fee, some of the examples are
University of Cambridge 31,000 pounds/year, Oxford University 21,000
pounds/year and University of Exeter 16,400 pounds/year which are really
unaffordable for me. Talking about Canada, the weather condition is not suitable
thus living there would definitely be a challenge for me. I also got to know that the
bachelor degree programs in Canada are of 4 years but in Australia, a bachelor
degree span over 3 years which gives an opportunity to early start the career. Also,
20% of Canada people use the French language this would also a big problem for
me if i choose to study in Canada. On the other hand in Australia living standard is
best in the world and less crime rate and amazing education system.
