Farewell Speech for Seniors of University

Ladies and Gentlemen Assalam-O-Alaikum and


Good evening. I am Doctor Shahbaz Ahmed Bughio
from 2K19 Batch. I welcome all of you in this
beautiful event especially to my seniors for whom
we have designed this wonderful programme. As
you know today is an important yet an emotional
day for us, as we all have gathered here to celebrate
a new start for our respected seniors, who are
leaving this institute with such a pleasant and
heartwarming memories. A wise person once said
there are no final goodbyes till your last breath, and
we believe in it, so we are not here to say goodbye
but we are here to say thank you, yes thank you for
being the way you are, for guiding us whenever we
asked for help, for having there for us when we got
scolded by our teachers. We have shared lovely
moments and memories together, either it were fun
parties or shared trips. This is not an end; you will
enter into the new world which is waiting for you,
and the bright world where we will see all of you as
the shining stars. And we will still remember our
first day and the raging you did with us, and how
smartly you fooled us, no one can beat you at that.
And one of the memorable moments was those
when you guys told us how to deal with tough
teachers, and believe me I will keep that secret in
my heart. And the beautiful quote by George Martin
is that with the fear of future you will never know
what is waiting behind the mountain, how you can
find without climbing it, so beautiful valleys are
always hidden behind biggest mountains. No matter
what challenges you face we hope you will reach
your goals, and from here a bright chapter of your
lives would start. And you know today is a big day
in your lives, because it is a turning point in your
lives that will decide where each one of you will go.
It is a day that you all deserve to enjoy. After five
years you all are finally graduating. After years of
tears pulling your all hard work and intelligence
you are getting reward to being graduate, and
finally you mighty peoples are leaving, so at this
moment I am confessing that guys I will miss each
and every one of you. And I believe we will all
continue to be friends. I wish you the best of luck
for your future endeavors. Now I can see mixed
emotions are emerged in the air, and I can see wet
eyes and wide smiles, wet eyes because you are
leaving us and wide smiles for your achievements
and for your bright future. The corridors, staircases,
computer lab, laboratories, canteen, library and last
but not least the classes that we are going to sit in
next year’s will surely remind us about you, and tell
us stories about the fun and experiences that we did
together. We will miss you guys and thank you for
being the most loveable seniors.
