SI.NO ITEMS TO BE CHECKED
1 PG Clamp ( 1041-2) used for 'C' , 'F' & 'ATJ' Jumper.
PG Clamp ( 1031-3) Drop jumper to contact wire & catenary
2
wire.
3 PG Clamp ( 1031-2) G Jumper.
The stagger of Contact wire at the location of the section
4 insulator should be normally Zero but in no case should it
exceed ± 100 mm
The Jumpers are so bent that undue starin at the P.G clamp
5
is avoided
An anti-theft jumper should not so short as to impeded free
6
movement of regulating equipment
Inspan jumper or 'C' jumper for OHE is used to connect the
catenary wire and the contact wire every 350 m distance .
7
i)One at ACC.
ii) Two at other middle of half tension length.
On tangent track the contact/catenary wire stagger is ± 200
8
mm.
On Curved track the contact/catenary wire stagger is ± 300
9
mm.
Back to back anchoring two equipments on the same
10 structure may adopted if both the terminations are of the
fixed type (without counterweights)
No crossed type equipment for turnouts is normally adopted
11
on main line
Separation between the main and the turnout track centers
12
at obligatory structure is 700 to 150 mm
G Jumper on turnout & crossover should be provided on
13
overlap side and in normal position.
14 G Jumper on UIOL should be provided in cross type.
3 ATJ should be provided in all ATDs and FTA location of
15
block section and in three equal distance of a span.
16 All Jumpers should be brazed on both ends.
AT Jumper should be connected on catenary and contact
17
wire in C loop.
