Redemption comes from Latin “Redimere” means “to buy back”, by paying the ransom
Three reason why Jesus chose to suffer and die:
o That we may love God (John 15:13)
o That we may hate sin (1 Corinthians 15:3)
o That we may learn how to suffer (1 Peter 2:21)
All of us sinners are responsible for the death of Jesus (St. Francis)

Jesus rose from the death on Sunday Morning, Three days after his death.

Resuscitation- is the reunion of the soul with the mortal body, like the rising of Lazarus
Resurrection- is the reunion of the souls with the glorified body, like the case of Jesus, whose
body was so transfigured that Magdalene did not recognize him
