ABSTRACT

The Food and Civil Supply is a computerized management system. It is

established by the Government of India under the Ministry of Consumer
Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. This project is based on a system
that will help in storing, updating and retrieving information through
various user friendly menu driven models.

The Government distributes rations at a subsided price to the poor.

Usually these are known as ration shops and chiefly sell wheat, rice and
sugar at a price lower than that of the market price.

Ration shops are now present in most localities, towns and cities.
Government provides register books, issue books, bill books through the
supply office to the ration dealers. The dealer must maintain these three
books carefully with the proper entry of data. Due to the manual entry, the
paperwork in these books, duplicates may occur causing discrepancies and
also losses to the government and the consumers.

The main motto of the project“ Food and Civil Supply Management
System”is to decrease these common errors and to provide a
futuristic and optimal solution to tackle these issues.

This system provides an easy interface so that a person of limited

knowledge and skills can interact easily and efficiently.Through various
levels of administration and hierarchy, the stem of this kind.
