The fuel injection system and matching with the drive train for good low end torque of 880 N-m @ 1350 rpm provides
drivers with a faster response time, more power at lower RPMs and reduced parasitic loads in low or no load conditions
for impressive acceleration, Grade climbing, towing capability and high-altitude performance.

The Engine delivers maximum power of 207 hp & 260 hp @ 2200 rpm and can peak to 315hp @2200 rpm for higher
tonnage vehicles. This stupendous power leaves behind the competition with crawling vehicles.

The turbo with charge-air cooler is tuned to reduce noise, improve fuel economy and make MaxxForce 7.2-powered
vehicles responsive and driver friendly. The combustion technology with 4 valve per cylinder and optimised fuel
injection system helps in achieving the stringent BS III emissions without any after treatment and not even EGR system.
This is a major advantage with emission compliance over the life of the engine.

The superior combustion technology enables to meet the futuristic emission norms of BSIV also without any after-
treatment like SCR or Catalytic convertors.

Maintenance

With the unique design of individual cylinder head, the maintenance and repair cost is minimized. The steel cylinder
head gasket is modular and ensures a long life with low cost for replacement and ease of service.

The wet liner design ensures the replacement of liners at the end of life with a minimum cost of replacement. This also
helps in ease of service and less down time

The unique features of water pump driven by engine gear train instead of Belt , gives a trouble free operation. This avoids
the chances of engine seizure due to belt failure. The viscous dampner ensures a vibration free engine
