Note:

1. for category A, subcategories B1.2 and B1.4 and category B3:

• 3 years of practical maintenance experience on operating aircraft, if the applicant has no previous relevant technical training; or
• 2 years of practical maintenance experience on operating aircraft and completion of training considered relevant by the competent authority as a
skilled worker, in a technical trade; or
• 1 year of practical maintenance experience on operating aircraft and completion of a basic training course approved in accordance with Annex IV
(Part-147);

2. for category B2 and subcategories B1.1 and B1.3:

• 5 years of practical maintenance experience on operating aircraft if the applicant has no previous relevant technical training; or
• 3 years of practical maintenance experience on operating aircraft and completion of training considered relevant by the competent authority as a skilled
worker, in a technical trade; or
• 2 years of practical maintenance experience on operating aircraft and completion of a basic training course approved in accordance with Annex IV
(Part-147);

An applicant for an extension to an aircraft maintenance licence shall have a minimum civil aircraft maintenance experience requirement appropriate to
the additional category or subcategory of licence applied for as defined in Appendix IV to this Annex (Part-66).

5. Instruction logbook basic experience.

Pages six (6) to (34) of this logbook are based on Part 66 AMC appendix II “Aircraft Type practical Experience and On the Job Training. There is a
maximum flexibility for adding tasks in this logbook.
The contents of this logbook depends on your basic training (A, B1, B2 of B3). To demonstrate your experience, you’ll need for each AML category a
separate logbook. The category for which this logbook is being used you’ll need to mention at page 1.
In this logbook there are 2 blank pages, which makes it possible to add additional tasks.

This Logbook consist out 9 columns. All the columns needs to be completely filled.

In column 1: ATA chapter

In column 2: Task title
In column 3: Aircraft Type
In column 4: Aircraft Registration
In column 5: Operation/task performed, as detailed and clear as possible
In column 6: Category, A, B1.1, B1.2, B1.3, B1.4, B2, or B3
