Citroën Type HY EAG
The HY saw the light of day in 1948. Post-war France needed
utility vehicles to rebuild the country and boost the economy. It
was under the guidance of Pierre Boulanger that the car was
born, with the main priority being practicality, solidity,
and reusing existing parts from the brand.

Its development was started back during the war in

the greatest secrecy in order to avoid drawing the
attention of the invader. Its loading capacity was
set at 1200 kg, and it remained a fixture in French
society for decades, being produced until 1981.

Muscle Bound
Very rarely do we feature Hot Wheels original designs or "fantasy cars" as they are
called by collectors. But this model deserves a very special mention. Designed by
Tyler Charset, Muscle Bound is a new release for 2019 under its
Speed Blur set.

With its sharp lines, almost Kenmeri good looks and shark
deco found on WW2 fighter planes, modern camo paint job,
this has become a hit with collectors all across the world
raving about it. It also sports a hood intake reminiscent
of muscle cars. The melding of east

on this model.

The model rocks the red-lined

the massive 66" tires it sits on. Achieved massive popularity by crushing
cars and racing similar trucks. GL brings to life this amazing vehicle

Since day one we have looked at QC very

seriously and have been constantly looking
for ways to improve. A model car, especially a
race car in such a small scale, involves many
steps in the production process that is by hand
which not many people would realize and
therefore it is prone to have inconsistency.
Having said that, we will continue our ongoing

The Hot Wheels Ramp Truck is one such gem.
Designed by the one and only Larry Wood, this model
was released in 1991 (It has a base date of 1986 since
it was a slightly modified version of another model, the

This particular model is from the 1996 Race Team II

series, has the blue and white particular to that series,
metal body in blue and unpainted base, six 5-spk
wheels and is purportedly made in China.
The Baja Bug featured here is quite interesting
too. Again from the 1996 Race Team II series, this
particular model has blackwall tires, and a metal base
stamped with 1983, is apparently made in India and
the name "NITHIA" tampo'ed on the sides and is also
designed by Larry Wood, and made it's debut in 1984.

A
ROVER
OF
MANY
FACES
DIECAST DISPATCH

The name Land Rover evokes a sense of adventure in

many a car enthusiasts mind. They are synonymous with
desert safaris, jungle treks, and getting into place that
most other "off-road" vehicles couldn't. Nowadays the
brand has become famous for its super luxury SUVs and
must-have for celebrity WAGS. But we decided to get
nostalgic and go back and look at things the Land Rovers
were actually meant for
The Land Rover Defender 110 saw many active duties with
a variety of private and public services with the Police, Fire
Brigade, the Military and the Royal Mail to name a few.

This is the Hot Wheels Land Rover MkII released in 1997

features a less active, but nevertheless, a much needed
service to the general population, an electrical service/repair
livery in eye catching bright orange. Its registration "RGW
404" is cast directly into the metal.

HANDYMAN
Though not the eco-friendliest vehicle on Earth, it could get
you to places that usually required horses or other animals to
be ridden to get there. The robust suspension, expertly built
chassis enabled the Land Rover to access most places.

This model was released by Matchbox in 2017. The Defender

110 features black paint with a more North American forest
treeline and the words "Explore Your World" on the sides.

EXPLORER
The short wheelbase Land Rover Defender 90 is still
extremely popular with the weekend explorer crowd.

2018 released Matchbox Land Rover Defender in Mint Green.

The Land Rover Series III was introduced in 1971. This
immediately became an intrinsic part of the British farming
landscape. And with the introduction of more space and
weight carrying capabilities, it became really popular with
utility companies and building contractors.

2019 released Land Rover Series III Pick Up is nicely covered

in red paint, white roof with a winch and perfectly done grille.
Light tampos make this a very good looking model.

WORKHORSE
The Land Rover Defender 100 was one of the most widely
excepted models in the world. Its popularity with the public
and private consumers were unlimited, and with so its ability
to become so many versions of itself, it could almost tackle
any challenge thrown its way.

The 2018 released Hot Wheels 2015 Land Rover Double Cab
is one of the lesser know varients of the iconic model.
