STATEMENT OF RESEARCH
Research, focusing on the Soil pollution to generate baseline data on metals
and trace metal contents in Cameroonian soils. The effects of these metals on
yields in the rice cultivating fields of Ndop plain and Bafut, while
investigating farmer/varietal adjustments to fertility management strategies.
Developing efficient, sustainable and environmentally friendly means of
managing solid waste generated by the various factories (especially
agricultural factories) in Cameroon
Soil development, plant succession and the socio-economic and cultural
impacts on the inhabitants of the different lava flows of Mount Cameroon
since 1922. This is an interdepartmental research, which should throw more
light on the effects of the various lava flows on the Mount Cameroon Region.
