    NARRATIVE REPORT

    (BASKETBALL)

    Basketball is a team sport, wherein the objective is to shoot a ball


    through a basket horizontally positioned to score points while following
    a set of rules. Usually, two teams of five players play on a marked
    rectangular court with a basket at each width. The nature of the game
    of Basketball is to try to score more points than the opposing team by
    throwing - or 'shooting' - a ball through the opening in the top of
    the basketball hoop, whilst following a set of rules.

    Elementary School held in PVHAI Clubhouse held last September 14,
    2019 to discover new set of players. During the School Intramurals we
    also selected players through the help and assistance of Sir Lito Itao who
    known to be a fan of basketball and have enthusiasm in basketball and
    kuya Tito Cardinio their trainer. The basketball team of Pilar village won
    in the district meet through the effort and trainings of their coach Mr.
    Genesis E. Mallari and trainer Mr. tito Cardinio.

    The PVES Basketball team continue their Journey in the division


    meet. Intense training imposed by their trainer to facilitate and enhance
    more their basketball skills. During the Division meet I saw the faces of
    PVES basketball team was frightened, I immediately change their mood
    into a player with a heart. I said to them” just do what we did during our
    practice game”. Game proper we were the first team to compete to
    another team which is the district 2, luckily we won then we advanced
    to the next game unfortunately the team got defaulted because of the
    time conflict. But we did not stop until we reach the final game at the
    end of the basketball season we won the bronze award (Third Runner
    Up). They receive their medals in the closing program held at Las Pinas
    National High School Main on November 15, 2019.

    The Basketball team of Pilar Village Elementary School will


    continue the perseverance and hard work in the next season. More
    intense training and enthusiastic player will move to the next level of their
    basketball Skills.
