• Ask your colleagues questions! • Use a designation you do not have

Study Tips
Multiple Choice Exams
• Studying is as simple as 1…2…3
• Know your learning style
• Think of the answer before looking at the choices
• Attempt the MC after your assessment is submitted
• Practice questions in exam conditions
• But don’t abandon the text!
Coursework
• Review and memorize the 3 prompts
• Highlight the relevant parts of the question
• Answer the questions as you read through text
• Re-read the text and “flesh out” answers
• Obtain real-life examples (with references)

Coursework Example:
• 530 Specimen Question:

– Provide a brief context for an insurance organisation or a division of an


insurance organisation with which you are familiar. For this organisation or
division of an insurance organisation:

– Explain how business performance is measured in a competitive market.


– Analyse how appropriate risk management techniques contribute to business
performance.
– Make recommendations, based on your analysis, to improve risk management
and the measurement of business performance.
