AUGUST RUSH
Music is everywhere; all you have to do is to listen. The story began about Lyla Novacek
the cellist and Louis Connelly a charismatic Irish singer-songwriter. They found each other through
music, they are both music minded, until the day that they met, and they feel that they are
connected to each other, that night is the best night for them, they fall in love to each other and
that’s not only an ordinary love it is a true love, because their love is fruitful, Lyla got pregnant but
Louis didn’t know about her pregnancy. They promise to meet again in the same place, but Lyla’s
father rushed her to her next concert, since that day, they don’t see each other anymore. Months
passed by, Lyla and her father got an argument, Lyla walk out and got hit by a vehicle. Her Father
bring her immediately into the hospital, Lyla didn’t know about what happen, it’s just after she open
her eyes, the baby in her tomb are not there anymore. Her father told her that the baby died during
the accident, but the truth is He send the baby into an orphan, Lyla lose her hope. After 11 years
the boy named Evan Taylor (August rush) living in an orphanage has grown into an unusually
gifted child who hears music all around him and can turn the rustling of wind through a wheat field
into a beautiful symphony with himself at its center, the composer and conductor. He holds an
unwavering belief that his parents are alive and want him as much as he wants them. Determined
to search for them, he makes his way to New York City. Until he met a stranger that brings him to
show up he’s talent in playing guitar uniquely. Stranger has big plans for the young prodigy but, for
August, his music has a more important purpose. He believes that if his parents can hear his
music, they will find him. Unbeknownst to August, they have already begun that journey. One day
when august played a guitar in a street, Louis saw him and got amazed his talent, they played
together and that’s so overwhelming to feel that music really find their own way, the connection
that their heart beats as one. Lyla’s planning to go back in playing cello and Louis also writes a
new song. Apparently one of the coordinator of the orchestra plans to have a concert with Lyla and
August. Sad to say that august got trouble during rehearsal, because the stranger found him and
that like he is the father of august. By Gods will, he escaped with the help of his friend and he went
faster into the concert. Lyla start playing cello, same as before she’s so very good in playing cello,
after she’s done playing with it, August went to the stage and start playing orchestra. Louis saw a
poster about the concert of Lyla and August, and he went to the concert quickly, in that moment
Louis saw Lyla and hold her hand while watching their son playing as an orchestrator. That was
the sweetest moment, the happiest moment for them, that they let music find their love and found
each other, no matter how hard life is, there’s always a hope when you just trust and believe God
and Let Him handle your situation. The movie is giving me courage and motivates me about how
to be patient, how to be brave in terms of problem, how to give importance about your talent and
