CADCHF Weekly Trying to decipher intention can be difficult.

CADCHF M30 I personally feel that this is consumption of orders with the intention of
going higher, but I also know that the market does not give a damn what I feel. So the
best bet is to wait and watch for a range-box-breakout-retest before placing an order.

Silver Daily I feel like its decision time for Silver. Either bulls show their hand, or we go
deeper into the FTR and shoot for a lower target. I would like to see the latter, but if you
haven't noticed yet my bias when looking at charts seems to favour the short side. A

the HTF analysis. If this..then do that. Wrap around a risk management plan and you've
got yourself a choreographed dance with the market. Price might signal its intention
only to change its mind later on. You have to plan for these events, anticipate them and
be prepared to flip your view at a moments notice.

What a beautiful journal!! You do a great job of exemplifying the thought process behind
your analysis and trades. I too view the market as a rolling assortment of if then
situations and treat my analysis as such so there are no surprises. The macro analysis
is something that I think is kind of lost in the shuffle around here and is a major part of
success in the markets. I also like how instead of posting pip perfect winning trades,
you post the thought process you took to arrive to that position and give foresight in
your analysis. Am I right when I assume you got some or your inspiration from the good
Doctor?? Also, how long have you been trading because I can clearly tell you didn't just

Thanks for stopping by sylntthunder. Appreciate the kind words. I don't see any other
way I can make sense of the markets without going through the process I am
attempting to fine-tune in this journal. I try to place more emphasis on the now (right of
the chart/approach & reaction) and the only way to do that is to take it one engulf at a
time in multiple time frames. The left side of the chart is all history and only a small
piece in the puzzle to me.

Inspiration actually comes from Red & the gang in the Price is everything FF thread.
Ifmyante was able to take his learning and add his own flavour from that thread and
make this wonderful website to really dumb down the learning curve for price reading
and I will see myself forever in his debt! I love Doc's work as well! I could lap it up for
days. Trading career thus far 3.5 years...slowly but surely :)

Decision time for AUDNZD this week. Let's look. Assuming you're not in a trade
already...
Let's do this backwards from LTF to HTF.

AUDNZD H1 What a mess. Engulf of of lower and upper parts of the range. No point
marking all the FTRs/DBR/RBD here. All Demand and Supply are taken out, and the
only thing we can do at this point is trade to the hard right of the chart and wait for the
decision to be made and hope for a cheap entry with that momentum. Purple box is the
current range. My plan a would be for a break north and a retest of this price action
area. Guess what plan b is? A break south and a retest of this price action area. Plan
C. Well that's to be confirmed as price unfolds...
Buy the bottom of the range, and sell the top right? Well I want to be buying the
BOTTOM the NEW range and selling the TOP of the NEW range on this chart, which
you might argue is buying the top and selling the bottom of some other time frame. All I
know is that trading isn't as straight forward as one sentence catch phrases.

no secret that this pair is 'trending' down hard, but that means jack if I want to make
some pips in the interim. Most recent supply/demand areas marked off. Let's see what
happens this week. Watch the price action closely at the high and at the low of last
weeks candle. That is where the best clues of mid-term direction will form.
