Me Quilt

Directions for "Me" Quilt

1. Look at the face in the left comer.


If you are a young lady, color it red.
If you are a young gentleman, color it green.

2. Look at the birthday cake.


Use your favorite color for this one.
In the flame of the candle, write the number of the month in which you were born.
In the candle. write the day of the month in which you were born.
If you are the oldest child, color the top layer of your birthday cake.
If you are a middle child, color the middle layer of your birthday cake.
If you are the youngest child, color the bottom layer of your birthday cake.
If you were born in the state of Tennessee, color the plate orange.
If you were not born in Tennessee, color the plate green.

3. Look at the ruler. Everyone stand up for this one.


If you are one of the tallest people in the room, sit down and color the ruler yellow.
If you are one of the shortest people in the room, sit down and color the ruler red.
If you are still standing, sit down and color your ruler purple.

4. Look at the box with a star.


If you have read 0-1 book since January, outline the box and color the star purple.
-If you have read 2-4 books, outline the box and color the star blue.
If you have read 5 books, outline the box and color the star black.

5. Look at the box between the "M" and the ''E.''


Outline the box in your favorite color and write your three initials inside the box.

6. Look at the ~at the bottom of the "M."


If you have 0-1 pet, color the pet green.
If you have 2-3 pets, color the pet blue.
If you have more than 3 pets, color the pet red.

7. Look at the heart with an X on it.


Color it your least favorite color.

8. Look at the heart at the bottom of the letter "E."


Color it your favorite color.

9. Look at the heart in the middle of the letter E."


If your favorite season is summer.color the heart yellow.'
If your favorite season is winter, color the heart blue.
If your favorite season is fall, color the heart orange.
If your favorite season is spring, color the heart green.

10. Look at the words pizza, puzzle, etc.


Circle the items green if you like them.
Circle the items red if you do not like them

Cut out your "ME" and paste it to a sheet of construction paper.


Find a partner and use a Venn diagram to compare and contrast your similarities and
differences.
Cut out the Venn diagram and paste it to a sheet of construction paper.

Punch holes in both sheets and tie together as a classroom quilt.
