This rubric evaluates students' sky lanterns on following directions, creativity/workmanship, and use of Southeast Asian cultural patterns. For following directions, students can score Excellent by completely following all directions, Good by following most directions, Fair by following some directions, or Poor by not following directions. Creativity/workmanship is scored based on the output being very creative and tidy, good and tidy, fair with some errors, or dull with many errors. For patterns, students can score Excellent by using a well-defined Southeast Asian pattern throughout, Good by using a visible but not clearly defined pattern, Fair by using a somewhat visible but not continuous pattern, or Poor by not using any Southeast Asian cultural pattern.
