How to participate in CSC Olympiad

1. Registration of candidates through CSC Centres
 Candidates can visit nearest CSC centre. CSC centres can register them using
CSC wallet. They can login at their CSC Academy Dashboard at
http://exam.cscacademy.org/centre and start adding students in CSC Olympiad
 Every candidate post registration will get a user id generated from system and
their password will be their DOB for in format <MMDDYY>.
 Candidate will login at http://www.cscolympiads.in/ using these credentials.
Practice test can be taken here. Final test will only be activated on the day of
examination. Result and certificates will be available in this dashboard.
2. Registration through Schools
 Schools will register themselves on the portal and have a unique id generated
 Schools will register candidates by filling candidate’s details and will provide
respective school promotion code during the registration.
 Every candidate post registration will get a user id generated from system and
their password will be their DOB for example <MMDDYY>.
 Candidate can login at http://www.cscolympiads.in/ using the LOGIN Id and
Password to take the practice test, make payment, take final test, and download
reports and certificates. Practice test can be taken here. Final test will be
activated on the day of examination.
3. Registration through Promotional Agency
 Only one PA is register and have a unique id generated- CSCPA77
 PAs will register candidates by filling candidates details and provide this
promo code.
 Every candidate post registration will get a user id generated from system and
their password will be their DOB for example <MMDDYY>.
Candidate can login at http://www.cscolympiads.in/ using the LOGIN Id and
Password to take the practice test, make payment, take final test, and download
reports and certificates. Practice test can be taken here. Final test will be
activated on the day of examination.
4. Registration of Individual
 Candidate register directly also and leaving promo code blank and post
registration will get a unique id generated from system and their password will
be their mobile number.
 Every candidate post registration will get a user id generated from system and
their password will be their DOB for example <MMDDYY>.
 Candidate can login at http://www.cscolympiads.in/ using the LOGIN Id and
Password to take the practice test, make payment, take final test, and download
reports and certificates. Practice test can be taken here. Final test will be
activated on the day of examination.

About CSC, CSC Academy and Hindi Olympiad
CSC e-Governance Services India Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle, has been set up
by the Ministry of Electronics & IT under the Companies Act, 1956 to oversee
implementation of the CSC scheme. CSC Academy is a society under the Societies
Registration Act 1860 (Act 21 of 1860), as applicable to the Union of Delhi which has
its registered office in Delhi.
The Academy is further committed to teaching, delivering of specialised courses/
training programmes, leadership, communication skills and promotion of
entrepreneurship among the rural masses in India.
Keeping in view the broad perspective of CSC academy, the objective of CSC
Academy Olympiad is as follows:
o Under Article 343 of the Indian Constitution, Hindi language has been declared
as the official language of India on 14 September 1949. Hence 14 September is
celebrated every year as Hindi Day.
o To make the Hindi language and literature interesting, to coordinate with the
dialects of India, popular regional languages and international languages, and
to make the Hindi language popular at the global level.
o CSC Academy Hindi Olympiad is being organized towards multi-dimensional
development of Hindi language which will provide multiple choice, value and
standard Hindi learning medium.Hindi Olympiad enhances students'
participation in Hindi language and literature.Hindi Olympiad prepares the
current generation of students to successfully face future challenges after
competitive examinations and teaching.

Important instruction
 CSC Academy Hindi Olympiad will be conducted online and the students will
have to take the exams from their residence or any other place where they have
access to computer with good Internet connectivity and webcam.
 Schools, subscribing to these exams, may decide to conduct these exams using
their computer lab, the student should have access to a good laptop/desktop
with latest version of the browser (preferably Google Chrome) and 2 Mbps
Internet connectivity and Web cam.
 Student registered will get credentials for the demo test and he has to make
payment before last date to attempt in final exam

Award and ranking mechanism/ criteria

 Gold prize-Top 3 students will be awarded with cash prize of 51,000 for each
student. 1 student from each section.
 Silver Prize- 6 students will be awarded with cash prize of 21,000 for each
student. 2 students from each section.
 Bronze Prize- 9 students will be awarded with cash prize of 11,000 for each
student. 3 students from each section.
 Participation Certificates to all the students and student who secure 70% and
above will get certificate of excellence.
 Top rankers school Principals and the teachers/parents may be invited and
honoured in Event.
 Management may decide more prizes.

Exam schedule & syllabus

CSC Academy Hindi Olympiad Exam will be held on 18 & 19 April 2020, Saturday
and Sunday
Time Slots: 6th-12th - 8 AM to 8 PM (students can attempt their exam any time
between this time slots)
Ranking criteria for csc academy hindi olympiad
 Ranks for all classes in CSC Academy Hindi Olympiad will be accordance to
the following criteria.
 Marks obtained in the exam.
 In case of a tie, the student completing the test in lesser time will be ranked
higher.
 In case of a tie again, they will be awarded the same rank.
 In case of any confusion, decision of the Academic Council will be final &
binding

About Exam Platform

1. Remote Proctoring online Platform will be used for fare assessment
2. The exam will be conducted in a highly secured environment on cloud.
3. This will be a timed and open test.
4. You can practise test with sample questions.
5. The exam will be a remote proctored examination.
6. The application will capture and verify digital identification as verification.
7. Candidate needs to login using his/her login credentials. (ID and password).
8. It tracks candidate’s face and also tracks if there is any doubt of proxy or more
than one candidate taking test i.e. impersonation will be auto flagged and test
will be paused until candidate resume on its genuine position.
9. The application tracks activity on the user’s monitor screen, provides warning
or terminates the test if any unwarranted application is opened during the test.
i.e. browsing tolerance will be zero during the test
10. Exams are displayed full-screen browser and cannot be minimized. And if its
done test will be treated as finished.
11. Exams cannot be exited until submitted by users.
12. Switching between tests or access to other applications is prohibited.
13. Print, Print Screen and capturing functions are disabled.
14. Copying and pasting anything to and from an assessment is prohibited.
15. Right-click menu options and function keys are disabled.
16. Audio and video chat streaming to proctor the exam remotely.
17. High speed internet, webcam and power back up is must during the test.
18. USB, VGA and HDMI projection will be not possible.
