    Stock Price Performance

    Stock Price $94.74 as on 28 March 2020

    The Target Corporation stock price movement is consistent with the NASDAQ, S&P 500 and

    Dow Jones Industrial Average over last one year as shown in figure-1 below:

    If the beta (β) of Target Corporation is calculated then it will be near to the value of 1 means

    greater profitability of the firm but at higher risk. However, if the last two months' performance

    is critically analyzed then the stock price movement is totally opposite to the market trend. The

    Earning Price Per Share during this period was 6.36 whole PE Ratio was 14.89. in the last six

    months, it touched the lowest figure of $105.94 and the highest figure of $129.21 and then get

    stable on the $$94.74.

    Target Corporation's comparison with NASDAQ shows that there is a strong correlation in the

    stock price movement at both places. In case NASDAQ moves either up or down, Target
    Corporation follows the same. However, in the last one quarter, Target Corporation's movement

    was much higher than that of NASDAQ.
