Main areas for improvement: Goals:
Be specific): Steps to take to make progress with identified areas: The first unit was about scientific method I learned amazing During the lesson the teacher diversified the methods of thing that I don’t know about it before also I can reflect that learning such using a power point and worksheets by there are many tests the people make it not just the scientists explain each meaning of the words with gives us example so, that means we are as a human if we are not sure about and ask each student to make sure that each one following experiment or if we want to create new things or edit we can and understand. Also, at the end of the lesson he make us make our experiment but that, of course, depends on the sit as a group and discuss what we learned especially what clear steps that we have to apply it in the scientific methods we are confused with that make me realize all steps which are Problem/question, observation/research, without confused between them. formulate a hypothesis, experiment, collect and analyze, conclusion and communicate the result. The thing I faced was the differentiate between the steps and when we can used it.
Evidence of progress towards goals:
Reflection and evidence of progress from the previous reflection/evaluation- demonstrate evidence of progress. The different learning style that the teacher used with us was amazing because each student has a different EPR 3503 Self-evaluation ability to learn. Also, when the teacher gives us a worksheet to apply on it that was very good to can see if I got the idea or not. In addition, the thing was very effective and I really understand each step was when the teacher makes us sit as a group because we as students we understand better because we used easy words so that was very helpful because what we make it as a group is discuss first then each student speaks and determine each step with giving example so in my turn I explain to them the steps which are Problem/Question which means develop our question that can be done through experimentation. Second, Observation/Research means make observations and examine your subject of interest. Third, formulate a Hypothesis here we make our hypothesis it should be related to our experiment and we have to predict some answer to our questions. Then, the experiment so we are developing and arise a procedure and plans also, of course, there should be details to can understand each thing we are making. After that, Collect and Analyze Results so here in this step, we have to show a result by tables, graph and data. Then, Conclusion, add a comment that accepts or declines our hypothesis and we can make a recommendation for future study and what we can improve it later. Lastly, Communicate the Results here we are prepared to explain and present our project for the audience. I really like this way and I told the teacher that was very effective lesson because before leaving the class we already comprehend each concept without confused between them and he was happy from us because that will be a great chance for us because these steps we observe it in our life like when cooking we used this steps so that was an amazing lesson I appreciate the whole lesson.
