Objective:

Online Art Gallery is an online application, which is used to display and sell art works of
artist irrespective of their nationality, gender and other narrow consideration, through auction.

Abstract:

To create Art Gallery Management System that keeps record of artists, their paintings, art
gallery details, bidding logs, exhibition details and showcases pictures of paintings to the customers.
This project intends to include various features related to an art gallery i.e. information about gallery,
exhibition, artists, their paintings, bidding on paintings customers (the one who bought the paintings)
etc. The main aim is to help art lovers know about different exhibition details organised by different
organisations, the art work included, the artists. People who wish to buy this art work can very easily
bid on painting of artist. There is a login page for administrator, artists and customer. Artists can
login through their account and include details about new paintings made by them. Customers can
login through their account and see different paintings available for selling purpose. Administrator
can include details about new art gallery, upcoming exhibition details and the exhibition artists.

1.1 Introduction

ONLINE ART GALLERY is an application software and it is very helpful for the art lovers
and others who wants to know the addresses where this kind of arts will we sold. This application
helps the end-users to search their arts and paintings and they can place bid on painting. Higher
bidder will get painting. The art have some categories like painting, sculpture, hand paintings etc.
The end-user can also get the information about the art exhibition and the respective address, so, that
they can visit to those exhibitions. Art Gallery brings you an opportunity to view online art

Artists find a difficulty to sell their art Online. Online art gallary already existing system have
some common problem, Which is mostly every website can’t provide a better GUI experience. Better
management of bidding system is required.

1.2.1 Existing System:

Customer can also register online and they can browse art works that are arranged in different
categories scientifically. Each Customer can create their own gallery to see his favorite art works
with out much difficult. And each user has the right to purchase an art work using the integrated
payment gateway and participate in auction by submitting their bids. Qualified bidder should remit
the amount using payment gateway and after each valid payment the art work will be shipped within
some days.
