You will need………… Pretty Little hearts


DK yarn in shades of red and
pink

3.00 mm knitting needles

Tapestry needle

Scissors

Toy stuffing

Stitch holder

K = Knit

P = Purl

Kf+b = knit forward and back

K2tog = Knit 2 stitches


together

………..Making up…………….
Using DK yarn and beginning at the bottom of the heart, Cast on 4 sts.
Once you have made 2
hearts place them back to  Knit
back and use the same  Purl
colour yarn to whip stitch  Kf+b, K1, Kf+b, K1 (6)
around the heart, tucking in  Purl
any yarn tails as you go.  Kf+b, K3, Kf+b, K1 (8)
Leave an opening and stuff  Purl
the heart. Sew opening  Kf+b, K5, Kf+b, K1 (10)
closed.  Purl
 Kf+b, K7, Kf+b, K1 (12)
 Purl
…………….Size………………..  Kf+b, K9, Kf+b, K1 (14)
H5cm x W6cm x D2cm  Purl
 Kf+b, K11, Kf+b, K1 (16)
 Purl
 K2tog x4, place remaining 8 stitches on a stitch holder
(4)
 Purl
 K2tog x2 (2). Gather remaining 2 stitches and secure.
 Thread holdered stitches back onto needle.
 K2tog x4 (4)
 Purl
 K2tog x 2 (2)
