Subject: ICT Lesson Name :LOGO Programming
Objective of today’s lesson
LOGO commands using role play
Opening Routine

 Provide the labyrinth game sheet (bee & flower)


to all students
 Ask them to solve the puzzle and draw the path
from bee to flower

Main Activity to fulfill the objective

Role play/ Game Play


Same or other complex labyrinth will be drawn on floor in advance to save time.
Class will be divided into groups having 3 students per group
 one will act as commander , who will command the turtle
 one will act as turtle which will follow commander’s instruction
 one will note down all steps i.e. FD 100, RT, LT etc.
Time to complete path will be noted for each group. Finally group with least time
will be rewarded to motivate them.

Closing Routine

After getting familiar with logo commands through role play, students will be
given some basic figures like square, rectangle to write commands for them.
If they are able to write commands properly it means commands are being taught
to them perfectly.
