2.0 Absolutely observe the instructions from the operation manual.
3.0 Function of Safe Load Indicator (SLI), limit switches, etc. shall be checked prior to using the
crane.
4.0 Rated loads at rated radii shall not be exceeded, i.e. when picking up the load, any changes in
radius caused by the deflection of the boom system shall be rectified accordingly.
The capacity charts include marked loads, which do not reach the ground in case of reeving
according to regulations. With the following formula, the max. height of the hook block over the
ground can be calculated approximately

L HS − ( HA + HI ) HA = main boom length

h = (HA + HI) −
IE HI = jib length
LHS = length of hoist rope (ref. 8.0)
IE = no. of reevings in hoist lifting block
5.0 The load ratings shown on the capacity charts shall apply on the following conditions:
The crane shall be in level position (±0.5%).
The supporting surface shall be sufficiently firm to bear the occuring ground bearing pressures.

The double hook blocks can be converted into single line hook blocks.
The rated loads include the weight of hook block and lifting tackle and their weight shall be substracted
from the listed ratings.

7.1 Due to the danger of tipping backwards of jib, a hook block with a minimum weight is required. For this
reason, the following weights (hook block + lifting tackle) must be used with the combinations listed

10.0 Wind speeds - dynamic wind pressures
also see instructions in the operating manual and supplements for increased permissible wind speeds
For the wind speeds of 9.8 m/s (dynamic wind pressure 60 N/m²) taken into account in the duty
charts, the wind area of the load is taken as 1.2 m²/t.
Correspondingly higher or lower wind speeds (dynamic wind pressures) are part of other wind areas
of the loads; however, the following maximum permissible wind speeds and dynamic wind pressures
must not be exceeded.
Main Boom Operation:
Length of Main Boom [m] Wind Speed [m/s] Dynamic Wind Pressure [N/m²]
up to 36 15.0 140
42 up to 66 13.8 120
72 up to 84 11.3 80
Exceeding 84 9.8 60
Jib Operation:
Length of Main Boom [m] Wind Speed [m/s] Dynamic Wind Pressure [N/m²]
Length of jib [m]
up to 48 13.8 120
up to 42
up to 48 11.3 80
48 up to 72
54 up to 84 10.6 70
up to 42
Exceeding 54 9.8 60
Exceeding 48

The following examples show the permissible wind speed of the load, taken as 1.0 m²/t in the interest
of safety, at a dynamic wind pressure of 60 N/m².

Example 1: given: load 200 t, wind pressure 145 N/m² ( ≈ 15.2 m/s)
sought: permissible wind area A Wperm .

At a dynamic wind pressure of 60 N/m² the permissible wind area of this load is 200 m².

200 m2 x 60 N / m2
A Wperm. = = 82.7 m²
145N / m2

Example 2: given : load 200 t, wind area 100 m2

sought: permissible wind pressure . p perm.
permissible wind speed v perm.
At a dynamic wind pressure of 60 N/m² the permissible wind area of this load is 200 m².

200 m2 x 60 N / m2
p perm. = = 120 N/m²
100 m2
vperm. = p perm. × 16. = 138. m/s
This example is only valid when the main boom length does not exceed 66 m.

DIN 15019.2 / EN 13000, Hoisting Class H1, Power Plant Group 1Bm
11.0 Conditions of Driving
♦ General:
Driving without load:
In case of driving without load the boom angles have to be set according to the parking
regulations.
Driving with load:
The crane can be driven with a load in any boom combination.
When driving with load, the capacity charts apply.
Loads should always be driven at the minimum possible radius and near to the ground.
When driving with a load, speed range 1 must always be selected. Changes in the direction of
travel should be made as slowly as possible.
The load must always be prevented from swinging to and fro (it should be lashed if necessary).
The ground must be even and capable of bearing weight (see soil pressure values).
Driving with a load is permissible up to a max. wind speed of 9.8 m/s.
Lower wind speed values on the corresponding capacity charts must be observed.

Operating mode Configuration perm. Inclination Conditions/Restrictions

Driving without load
HA + HI < 84 m < 10° on the whole
< 3° diagonally
boom along longitudinal - boom slope sided
crawler axis - no restriction of travelling road
HA + HI > 84 m < 5° on the whole
< 2° diagonally
boom 360° HA + HI < 84 m < 3° on the whole
HA + HI > 84 m < 2° on the whole
Driving with load on even ground (inclination < 0.3°, max. speed 0.5 km/h)
boom along longitudinal all lengths < 0.3° - no restriction of travelling road
crawler axis
boom 360° all lengths < 0.3° - positioning of loads up to a
travelling road of max. 20 m
Driving with load on inclined ground (inclination > 0.3°, max. speed 0.5 km/h)
HA < 84 m < 1° - reduction of capacity: 20%
only main boom 360° < 2° - reduction of capacity: 30%
HA > 84 m < 1° - reduction of capacity: 30%
HA + HI < 84 m < 1° - reduction of capacity: 30%
main boom and jib 360° < 2° - reduction of capacity: 40%
HA + HI < 120 m < 1° - reduction of capacity: 40%
HA + HI > 120 m < 1° - reduction of capacity: 50%

12.0 Notes on Runner

There are no capacity charts for Runner. The capacities on the Runner are directly calculated.
Runner is possible on all configurations except all configurations with LF !
With the following formula, the capacity on Runner can be calculated approximately.

CAP = CAPH - UFL - 0.5 ⋅ M WU - M RUN ≤ 30t 30t Runner

CAP = CAPH - UFL - 0.5 ⋅ M WU - M RUN ≤ 60t 60t Runner

CAPH = capacity ref. chart with load on boom head next to Runner
UFL = weight of hook block on boom head next to Runner
MWU = mass of jib suspension rods (if lying on main boom)
MRUN = mass of Runner (excluding the hook block on Runner))

13.0 Notes on Superlift

All capacities with 0t superlift counterweight are defined with unmounted superlift carrier or superlift
frame.
