The Paradox of Our Time
Paradox?
Can kindness and humility change the world? #Icare. Do
The Paradox of Our Time
Widely circulated and inaccurately credited to numerous authors over the years, “The
Paradox of Our Time” still continues to provide inspiration and an opportunity for
reflection.
Decades have passed since The Paradox of Our Time originated, and yet In my
blog SOS: WHERE IS KINDNESS, CARING, COMPASSION AND EMPATHY? I
ask others to join the #Icare movement to promote action and positive change.
#Icare Movement
“The copycat phenomenon is real,” Andre Simons of the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis
Unit said at the time. “As more and more notable and tragic events occur, we think
we’re seeing more compromised, marginalized individuals who are seeking
inspiration from those past attacks.”

Can you imagine a kinder more compassionate community? Do you think it’s possible
to drive change? I challenge everyone to share the positive, the uplifting, the random
acts of kindness you experience. Share these acts and stories of kindness and
positivity with news outlets and various social media networks.
There is a Way!
Reflection
The Paradox of Our Times’ message is still as relevant as ever. This encourages
reflection and action in these times where we are bombarded hourly by breaking news
stories of acts of violent and tragic events and most of all, especially the occurrence of
COVID’19 which was tagged as pandemic. This poem made me realize that we shall
use time very sensibly and should innovate movements to promote significant actions
and positive changes. And that we, as a persona shall foster love, kindness, care,
compassion and empathy not only for our loved ones but also for those who needed it.
