Technology with great advances have greatly improved the quality of life of people, the
use of technology allows us to perform activities in a short time, also with all its
advances technology has allowed many advances in medicine because thanks to
technology, many drugs for diseases that previously were difficult to treat, education has
also evolved through technology, teaching methods are designed according to ICT to
improve learning, his most significant development can be observed in communications,
because thanks to technology we can communicate from anywhere in the world quickly
and efficiently created.

Addition to all these benefits, the technology also has some disadvantages caused by
the dependence generated toward her, an example of this is the addiction to mobile and
social networks, which cause a sedentary lifestyle, loss of vision for being long exposed
to technological devices among other illnesses, in addition, one can observe that many
people use designed to harm others, an example of this are robbery and extortion that
are performed through the Internet and social networks.

We can consider that one of the main challenges facing humanity versus technology is
knowing appropriately use it responsibly, that is why we must seize it in a positive way to
discover all the benefits it offers, the technology was not created to harm but rather to
help us transform our planet into a better one.

We conclude that technology is an excellent tool for the development of society, but we
must reflect on its use to avoid being dependent on it.

I agree with your opinion that the technology has not become dependent on it and that is
not its purpose, but sometimes things are not bad, bad is the use that we give, in my
opinion I think the technology is a very useful tool, as it evolves over time and is

TECHNOLOGY

The use of technology. Technology is moving so fast around the world. Its use has
become the most influential development for people's lifestyle. Nevertheless, the effect
of technology is both negative or positive. But a research work has demonstrated that
technology is consuming us day to day in an uncontrolled way, generating bad
consequences in human being life.

A new study shows that excessive time spent on the Internet can increase a teenager's
risk of high blood pressure. The latest finding adds to a growing body of research
showing a link between heavy internet use and increased health risks such as addiction,
anxiety, depression, obesity and social isolation. In their study, researchers from the
Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit found that teens who spent a minimum of 14 hours a
week on the internet had elevated blood pressure.( Harris, 2011)

In addition, technology is also affecting our families and children relationships. A clear
example is the use of cellphones while talking with somebody or sharing dinner with our
parents or relatives. Children and adults prefer having contact with a digital world
everywhere and anytime. Chatting or going into social media without taking into account
how bad might be for us, and how this behavior could disintegrate our relationships.
Another bad consequence of the use of technology is related with our mental
development. A child who spends many hours online (playing video games) in front a
computer could affect his brain ability such as reading, writing and high level of thinking.
We are well aware of the positive aspects that technology has offered us throughout the
years to our life. For example health sector has improved communication between
patients and doctors, the develop of special equipment to treat diseases. Business
sector also has gotten benefits using technology. Companies have become more
profitable with the help of various advanced machines and equipment, and this has led
to a rise in the standard of living of people.(Thudany, 2011). Consequently, employees
have been fired due to the fact that the machines have taken their positions in the
company and managers see this strategy as a way to improve their profitable as well.

People know the negative and positive impact that the use of technology can have in
their daily life. In addition, they can have opportunity to use it depending on what they
care about. In spite of the decisions that people can make about the use of technology,
we have not controlled it yet, its negative impact is evident in our life and “every second
that passes by is making us all the more dependent on technology”. (Thudany, 2011)

TECHNOLOGY THE USE IN THE DAILY LIFE

Technology has a lot of uses in the real life, make the live easier because in our hands
can have more tools and information that in the past we don't have. Education for
example has a lot of changes not only in virtual way in face to face way because the
class can be more interactive with programs, platforms in other hand the virtual
education bring closer people to the learning only with a internet connection.
Also in the health technology to discover new treatments that make better the quality of
life of people. As well through of the years technology make a connected world with
advances in programs, systems and the use of internet, before the information was
limited but today you can found everything that you need.
It is too important the use of technology in our life but is own responsibility teach to
children the better use of the technology because the communication is losing for the
bad distribution and priorities of technology. The face to face communication is
replaced for the telecommunication and more and more has children introspective that
only think in them self.
Taking into account this technology in the family becomes a problem because it
changes the interaction, communication, change what the person thinks and reduces
memory.
Of course technology reduces human interaction thus children don’t develop neural
connections and emotional parts of the brain are reduces by the bad use of technology.
Therefore is necessary in families have rules about using the technology as video
games, t.v, internet, etc. and providing love, care, support, empathy with face to face
interaction and assertive communication.

I can notice that you stance in the positive impact that technology has generated
throughout the years. I think technology is a tremendous development that has changed
our lives. Nowadays we can live without any contact with technology such as laptops,
computers, smart phones , tablets and so forth. The problem is that we have not learned
to control it yet. A clear example of this is when use our cellphones at work, a small
percentage of workers leave their phones without touching it. It seems like our
cellphones were begging us "please touch me". This conduct has been gotten because
we do not know the bad consequences that might bring us. Finally, I think we cannot

My opinion about Mrs Diana Lissett

We are living in a digital age and many developments have improved our quality of life.
Technology takes a big role in our lifestyle, as you mentioned in your essay, nowadays
we can stay in touch with our relatives and friends in a few seconds no matter the
distance. However, some relationships might be affected for this phenomenon where
people also use technology to establish other type of relationship with a virtual person,
and it can destruct marriages and courtship- Oweimar Bravo.
