Ensure that all contractors and subcontractor performs all Civil works to the agreed
standards for safety, health and environment and to attain high levels of HSE
performance.

Duties:
• Enforce strict compliance with all QA/QC and Safety procedures and all
Company/Project rules and regulations.
• Ensure that all works are in conformity to project standards and specification.
• Liaise with other discipline staffs to ensure the optimum interface of the
various operational activities, with the overall objective of successful completion of
the project.
• Coordinate appropriate mitigating actions with EPC Contractor Civil team to
ensure compliance with the Project Schedule and requirements.
• Initiate and manage the civil project tasks in respect of the continuous
improvement processes.
• Review and approve EPC Contractor deviations from specified Civil Project
procedures to ensure full compliance with Project Specifications and standard.
• Maintain records of site activities and check EPC Contractor records for
accuracy.
• Carry out inspection, surveillance and witnessing of EPC Contractor activities,
ensuring records are maintained, including marked up drawings and as-built data.
• Implement MOC process for construction related changes for civil discipline.
• Monitor site activities for potential contractual / claims problems
• Provide technical support for Change Order.
• Provide technical support for the mechanical completion and pre-
commissioning phase of the project.
• Ensure follow up and execution by EPC Contractor of the mechanical

practice of commissioning and start up standards.
