Course Description:
This course will introduce the students to community health which includes both the private and public efforts of individuals, groups and organizations to promote, protect and
preserve the health of those in the community.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the course, the student shall be able to:

1. Described health promotion and disease prevention methods.


2. Identified and described the structure and function of government and non-government health organization in the international, national and local levels.
3. Understand the infectious diseases and its impact on the community.
4. Explained the relationship of environment to health.
5. Correlated health to sustainable national development.
