On behalf of Reed Exhibitions, we would like to thank all of our exhibitors, supporting organisations and sponsors for

your involvement in AIMEX 2017. Through in-depth industry research and the appointment of David Moult ex CEO of
Centennial Coal as Non-Executive Chairman, AIMEX evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of the sector. We have
received very positive feedback from industry decision-makers, mining personnel and exhibitors with the new direction
of the event.

AIMEX provided a broad offering of technologies and solutions that had emphasis on increasing productivity, efficiency
and maintenance which was complemented by the inclusion of the free-to-attend Future of Mining Conference
sponsored by Fluidmesh Networks. This 3-day program featured over 30 leading experts providing informative and
interactive presentation on themes such as the economic and political outlook for the mining industry, the latest
advancements in automation, operational efficiencies, fleet performance and tyre management, and occupational
health and safety.

Initial unaudited figures show that AIMEX 2017 attracted a total of 4,900 visits over the three days and we have had
numerous reports from exhibitors of significant leads and orders taking place on the show floor. We are very pleased
that our preliminary reports indicate an increase in attendance from civil, mechanical and mining engineers and that our
percentage of engineers increased to 20% from 15% in 2015.

Please find below an overview of the visitor statistics from AIMEX 2017. Please note these are the unaudited figures. The
CAB audited figures along with the Micromex survey will be released in the Post Show Report which will be distributed in
November.

A special thanks also to Austrade who worked very closely with us this year to deliver international buyers from China,
India, Peru, Germany, Belarus, Saudi Arabia and Thailand, all looking to do business with Australian companies.

Our preparations are well underway for the next major mining event, Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition
(QME) 2018, taking place in Mackay from the 24th – 26th July. If you are interested in participating in this event please
contact the team as soon as possible.
