NARRATIVE REPORT ON FIRST HOME ROOM

PTA MEETING
It was 7th of June 2019 when
Nagbalayong National High School held the
First Homeroom Parents and Teacher’s
Assembly at Nagbalayong National High
School around 3:00 in the afternoon on
each advisory classrooms. We held the
PTA meeting at HUMSS 12 MAGSAYSAY’S
classroom which are attended by 6 out of
19 Parents. The program started with an
opening prayer and proceeded
immediately with our agendas. First we discussed the implementation of our
school policies and regulations and the corresponding
sanctions with every violation of it. Then we talked about
the implementation of proper uniform and grooming of the
students inside the school premises. The third topic is
about the school attendance and the impacts of tardiness
and absenteeism in student’s performance. Fourthly, we
discussed the memorandum about the “No Collection
Policy” to the pupils. Lastly we talked about the Ani-Bullying Policy of the school.

After the discussion of the said agendas, we

proceeded to the nomination of HRPTA Officers.
After the election of HRPTA officers, the officers
agreed to prioritized the placement of new electric fan
in the classroom since there is no available electric fan
in the said classroom. We also agreed that the elected
treasurer should be the one responsible for the
collection of contribution for the said project. The HRPTA meeting ended at around 4:45 in the afternoon.

We held our Second Parent-

Teacher Conference last September 6,
2019 around 9:00 o clock in the morning
at Nagbalayong National High School’s
covered court.
SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
The first topic was discussed by the Principal, Mr. Dave D. Basto that tackled about
the school’s Rules and Regulations that needs to be implemented and acknowledged not just by
the students but also for the parents mostly emphasized on proper grooming and uniform,
absenteeism and tardiness. He also discussed about the rights and responsibilities of a student
as an individual part of the school. Lastly, he
oriented every parent being a stakeholder of
every event especially when it comes to
Brigada Eskwela Programs.
Afterwards, all parents went to their

children’s advisory room to proceed with the
distribution of report cards. But before that, we
had a short meeting that tackles about the
absenteeism of their children. I had to remind
the parents about this because it is the main reason why their children got low grades.
After that we proceeded to the distribution of the report card.

The Third Parent-Teacher Conference

was conducted last November 11, 2019, 2:30 in
the afternoon at Nagbalayong National High
School. The participants of the said conference
were the parents and students of Nagbalayong
High School. The first part of the conference is

the general assembly facilitated by the NNHS principal, Mr. Dave D. Basto who tackled about all
the school’s projects. He also discussed about the school policy on school uniform and good
grooming. He informed all the parents that the proper wearing of uniform will be strictly
implemented on January 6, 2020.
After the said topic, all the parents

immediately proceeded to their respective
advisory rooms for other agenda, particularly
the distribution of report cards. ICT12-Jaena
consists of 8 pupils. Apparently, there are only
three parents who attended the PTCON.

IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION
(Swimming)

Nagbalayong, Morong, Bataan where a 7 ft.
swimming pool was located. The said practicum
was lasted for half day, from October 16, 2019,
1:00 – 5:00 in the afternoon. It was participated
by 32 grade12 students of different track; GAS,
ICT, HE and HUMSS. It was new for the senior students of
Nagbalayong since other schools was also implementing
practicum in swimming.
Mr. Jeffrey San Juan and Mr. Mharlo Mendoza, registered
lifeguards are invited to teach some basic swimming strokes and
proper techniques.
At the end of the activity, the learners realized that
swimming is not about going to resort/beach and have fun but
swimming is a sport which has a technical aspect such as proper
breathing, proper hand and feet moves, etc.
SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
The practicum for swimming ended successfully with learnings and students appreciated
the subject.
