The following are the minimum pre-requisites for recognition of a
School of Nursing offering a DIploma in General Nursing and

The authority which desires to open a School of Nursing has to
furnish the following documentary proof to the .Indian Nursing
Council and comply with the following:

2. The Indian Nursing Council on receipt of no objection


certificate from the organization will undertake first
inspection to assess suitability to start the. programme.
3: On the assessmentof INC, if the institution is found suitable
to start the programme. INC shall write to the state Nursing

4. On receipt of the'inspectlon report from the state Nursing
Council/Board. INC shall decide whether to give permission
to admit the students or not.
