IMPORTANT NOTE: This schedule is VERY flexible, especial y these first nine days
of school, but we wil be very busy! We wil be getting up and moving around
quite a bit as we work through our school day. Stating this, please make sure
your child has a quiet and comfortable place to work each day! We wil be
working from 8:45 - 3:00 with breaks throughout for lunch, recess, hand washing,
and dance breaks to get our wiggles out!

(BEANS, POM POMS, BUTTONS, CHEERIOES, ETC.)

Please note, what is most important is that your child learns and grows in
a safe environment. If assistance is needed for supplies, please contact our
guidance counselor, or administration for confidential help. Thank you!

• You all should have come to get an iPad at school on Thursday of


this week. This iPad is yours to keep for the duration of LaunchEd
Digital Learning. It is the property of the school so PLEASE handle
with love & care. (Do not decorate or draw with stickers or any
other harmful materials.)

• We teachers were not given access to iPads ourselves. Stating this,


we wil try our absolute BEST to troubleshoot any issues that may
arise. Please be patient with us as we are all new to Digital Learning.
We are all in this together!!

• There were a few printed items that went home with you on
Thursday as well. Those wil NEED to come back with your child when
Face to Face begins on August 21st. These materials are utilized
throughout the entire year, so PLEASE do not complete any pages
until instructed to do so.
THE FIRST 9 DAYS OF SCHOOL!!

With the iPad you were provided with, we wil be using several
applications throughout the first 9 days of LaunchEd learning. Our main
platform that we wil be using is called Canvas, this is where you wil find
all of your child’s daily assignments & activities for the week! There are 2
dif ferent ways on how you can access your child’s Canvas Page through
the iPad device.

This application wil take you right to your child’s Canvas page. When
it asks you to login, if it not already done, below is what you'l enter:
Username: Your child’s ID number (found on the back of the iPad)
Password: Their birthday in the format of - YYYYMMDD

You wil also be able to access the “Canvas App” (as well as many others)
through the Classlink App. I have attached to the original email
instructions on how to log into this particular app.
