NOTES:
1. A computer program to calculate WKI and SLHV is available from Waukesha Application Engineering.
2. Ignition timing and air/fuel ratio (controlled by the Engine System Manager (ESM) is variable depending on speed, load,
WKI, and other conditions.
3. Site condition derates apply as follows:
Ambient Air Temp. 2% per 10°F above 100°F, for >70 WKI fuels.
For < 70 WKI fuels, “knock” derate will be greater than ambient derate,
therefore no need for further derate.
Altitude Deduct 4% for each 1000 ft (350 m) above 4000 ft (1219 m).
Intercooler Water Temp. Deduct 5.5% for per 10 F above 130°F to maximum 150°F.
4. Ratings apply for fuels above 600 Btu/SCF (SLHV).
