Accenture Oracle Database Application Assured Platform for GCP

Product Description:

Provides support that is optimized for physical Oracle workloads that reside within a single compute, storage
and network configuration, using a bring-your-own-license model. Bare Metal sizing options include HPE DL380
platforms, with options for HA and DR.

Key Features:

 Server Base Resource: Bare Metal


o Machine Sizes:
 Small Configuration: 1 Intel CPU @ 12 cores total, 768 GB RAM
 Standard Configuration: 2 Intel CPU @ 24 cores total, 768 GB RAM

 Storage Sizes: (redundant 100% Flash)


o Initial Storage options :
 Five (5) Terabytes
 Twenty-Five (25) Terabytes
o Incremental Storage :
 Five (5) Terabytes increments

 Base Services: The following services are included for all Server Base Resources
o Supports Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.5 + 7.5
o Supports Oracle Enterprise Edition: 12c, 18c
o High Availability ready:
 Oracle Grid foundation out of the box, enabling the option for failover between clustered
systems via shared storage
 Oracle Clusterware
 Oracle Application Storage Management (ASM)
o Systems Administration (24 x 7 support for P1 events)
o Network / Firewall configuration and support
o Storage configuration and management
 Encryption is included for Data-at-Rest
o Capacity Management
o Database Patching
o Backup and Recovery:
 Daily Incremental backups
 Weekly Full backups, with 30 days retention
o Monitoring / Service Assurance:
 Availability: Server, Database Instance
 Performance: Server (i.e. CPU, Memory, Disk)
 Instance Restart
 Standard Service Options: The following services may optionally be included for all Server Base
Resources
o High Availability:
 Oracle Grid clusters, with up to five (5) nodes

by coordination for a custom quote and special order.

 Large Configuration: 2 Intel CPU @ 56 cores total, 1.5 TB RAM

 Database Compression
o High Availability:
 Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC), enabling the option for failover between clustered
systems via distributed storage
o Optimization Services:
 Multi-tenant database hosting on a common bare metal platform via options such as:
 Oracle Multitenant licensed option provides capability for multiple database
instances that all share a common data dictionary.
 Multi-database server installation provides multiple database instances without
additional licenses, but each requiring a discrete data dictionary.
o Virtualization Services:
 Oracle Virtual Machine and vServer hosting and management
o Reliability Services:
 Application Monitoring
 Proactive Database Management
 Environment Configuration Management
