source. BUT (Bulk Utility Tool) is a java based application which works at the heart of several upstream and
downstream applications in a telecom workflow. BUT performs bulk data transfer and data processing between
several applications. CCM (Common Capability Manager) is the component developed to do the input stream data

Project Description: Dynamic Line Management system is a project launched by BT for its entire 21 century network;
this is BT Wholesale initiative providing copper lines to all its service providers and BT retail itself. DLM project was
responsible for managing and stabilizing the line quality for end broadband user proactively by monitoring the usage
of end user and the line behavior. It was the single repository of entire BT OSS where the speed of END Customer
was determined and stored. The Batch processing was done involving nearly 800 million transactions per day in
batch by using PL/SQL in Oracle, UNIX and Core Java 1.4. Features used involve Multithreading, Exception handling
and Collections. Also the project involves developing Oracle Stored Procedures, Functions, etc. and using JDBC.
Responsibilities:
▪ I worked as a component designer in DLM to design a solution that can read the user line data and analyses
the line behavior
▪ Also proposed some critical enhancements in design and some architectural changes which proved beneficial
as a strategic solution.
▪ Worked on UML RSA for creating class, sequence and state diagrams to produce the design for
implementation.
▪ Produced new business for project with the new strategic suggestions provided by me to enhance the project.

Project Description: RAMBo is an OSS component which was developed to manage the high speeds in the range of
2M-24M. Aiming to help the Service and Assurance sector of BT by providing BT Customers with a system that is
used to diagnose the faults in the network and provide BT personals with the possible solution to the network
problem assuring and providing end users with the best possible line speed. It was the single repository of entire BT
OSS where the speed of END Customer was determined and stored. The Platform used is UNIX and Core Java 1.4.

Project Description: This is internal project to capture and track the aspiration of individual employee. It used to
manage the aspirations for all the employees from the entire unit. This is a pure web based project with Oracle 10g
at the backend. JDBC connection pooling is used for the data traffic between Java and Oracle. JSP and servlets are
used with java beans for this project. Tomcat was the application server.
