    1. Was the merchant right to refuse to give his consent to his daughter’s marriage?

    Why or why not?

    Knowing that Chinese culture is different, her father's consent was valid
    because it is culture, a father shakes his daughter's hand. On the other hand,
    freedom wins every argument, everyone is free to marry whoever they want,
    the merchant was not right in denying the marriage of his daughter, but as an
    authoritative person of his daughter, he only wanted to protect her because he
    did not know her very well Chang.

    2. What kind of daughter was Kung Shi Fair?

    In my opinion, Kung Shi Fair was a privileged girl because her father gave her
    all the resources that the daughter of a millionaire person could have, in

    I would have told Kung Shi Fair to follow her
