Further analysis…
Design
Gain knowledge and understand how the industry works. The candidate will further learn new skills such
as negotiation and persuasion, team building, and commercial awareness.
Instructional Methods/Activities: how will the content be taught; what activities will the
learners engage in e.g. something to read, something to listen to, students interacting with the material
(such as embedded quizzes, or matching tasks), learner reflections
Regular trainings and quizzes based on the learnings should be conducted. Team building exercises should
be promoted so that the trainee-subordinate relationship is strengthened.
The candidate should be given directions to perform a particular task as a demo test where he/she should
be left to recall all that has been learnt and absorbed through the training processes by him/her which
should further be applied and later evaluated and analysed by the trainers to understand the learnings of
the candidate.
What is a reasonable timeline for these tasks? How long do you think this would take to develop?
6-7 days.
Implement
Evaluate
Formative Evaluation: What questions are important to ask along the way to inform the
development of your instructional design?
Summative Evaluation: What questions would you ask to see if the curriculum and instructional
materials worked like you wanted and the learners met the objectives? How will you evaluate the
success of your efforts?
The evaluation of the success of efforts can be done with the help of the transcripts of the results which
have been attained by the candidate/s . Regular questions should be asked as to how comfortable the
candidate was with the design throughout and if at he/she faced any problems and how they fixed it.
Note 1: although the E-step comes at the end, after Implementation, the evaluation must be
planned ahead of time or it may not be do-able.
Note 2: this step is evaluation of your process and product, not learner assessment.
