Reseto is a brand that takes a sustainability-first approach. It aims to create a sustainable future by rewarding customers for donating their used clothing, which is then given to those in need. This closes the loop by recycling usable fabrics from donated clothing to make new clothes, saving resources. Through its rewards program, Reseto hopes to incentivize sustainable behaviors while making fast fashion accessible, helping customers stick to trends affordably while shopping sustainably.

Future 2020 And Beyond RE RE SE SE TO TO Introduction
Reseto is a brand with Sustainability-first approach. As
fashion industries continue to cope with market demands, sustainable goals can hardly be met. Our goal is to create a sustainable future, by not only giving away to those in need, but also to our customers who help us in this endeavour.
Reseto powered by Uniqlo is a brand and reward
programme. Customers are very important to us. Initially Customers would give away their loved Uniqlo clothes away to help in providing clothing to those in need through Uniqlo. However, what if we could reward the customers and also help in meeting sustainable goals at the same time?
That is what Reseto hopes to achieve through our new
brand. Today, most of us buy clothes that we don’t need or don’t particularly use that often. Sometimes these clothes are stored for a long time at the back of the shelf, only to be used for a short while before throwing them away.
Fast fashion clothes particularly face
this, when they were not made to last long like slow fashion clothes.
Some of these clothes when used on a
daily basis are put to wash after one-time use of a few hours. When fast fashion clothes are worn for a few hours and put to wash everyday frequently, they tend to get worn out easily leading to consumers throwing or giving away their clothes to buy new clothes, and this cycle keeps repeating.
In the past twenty years or so, the
industry has slowly been changing to fast fashion, where cheaper clothes are produced under reduced labor costs and trend cycles have sped up.
Urban-life over the last few few years
has been a life of speed, getting the latest and keeping up with trend. A part of what made this possible was the consumer’s desire for speed which was then sucessfully followed by value.
Fast fashion are of the moment
purchases that are accessible at a low cost. How much of an impact does fast fashion have, you may ask...
Fast fashion is the world’s second most
polluting industry right behind oil. Did you know that it takes almost 2,650 Liters of water to create a single cotton shirt.
Imagine the amount of resources it would
take to order a few clothes online. From creation, to transportation, it is very resource consuming.
When thrown away, these clothes can
take up to 80 years to breakdown. To combat some of these problems, manufacturers have implemented measures to have some of the existing fabrics to be recycled through existing exchange points. These clothes are then donated to areas where people are in need of proper clothing.
However, these measures are still not enough to
keep manufacturing sustainably. Some of these measures can be implemented by consumers to reduce carbon footprint on their part.
Don’t buy something unless you truly need it.
Try to wash clothes less according to the label which can help extend the lifetime of your clothes.
Take your time to reasearch and buy from
eco-fashion companies whose production methods follow guidelines for sustainable production. Clothing usually designed by Sustainable brand tends to last longer and are made from better materials.
Once consumers are tired of using
these clothings, they are then sold to thrift shops which are then available for cheap to a wider audience such that their pricing are also lower than the price of lower-quality latest fast fashion clothing.
However, what if there was a way to
get better value?
The Best of both worlds with no
disadvantages. With reseto, people are able to donate their clothes and get points in return as their reward.
The donated fabric can be processed
back into usable and unusable fibers. The useable fibers can be used to make new clothes again which helps save up a lot of resources. At Reseto we aim to make Sustainable goals a reality. The rewards goes to customers, manufacturers and environment as well.
Reseto customers can donate clothes to obtain points
which can be used to shop for clothes online, or use to buy vouchers and free delivery coupons.
This way, it is also easier and cheaper to stick to fast
fashion trends while also shopping sustainably. RE RE SE SE TO TO
