    DiVISION INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONFIRMATION OF COMPLETiON/GRADUATION


    FOR SCHOOLS NOT CONDUCTING END OF SCHOOL YEAR RITES
    SY (2019-2020)

    Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel
    All Others Concerned

    1. DepEd Memorandum 042, s. 2020 entitled Multi-Year Implementing Guidelines on the


    Conduct of the K to 12 Basic Education Program End of the School Year (EOSY) Rites
    provides that schools may hold moving up/recognition/graduation on April 13-27, 2020.
    2. However, the Province of Negros Oriental was under Enhanced Community
    Quarantine (ECQ) until April 18, 2020. Furthermore, the implementation of the ECQ in the
    province has been extended until April 30, 2020.
    3. For that reason, no End of School Year Rites could be held within the period of April
    13-17, 2020 as provided in DepEd Memorandum No. 042, s. 2020. However, schools, in
    coordination with the PTA can opt to hold End of School Year Rites at a date when all
    suspensions of public gathering and situation will be normalized, as would be declared by
    proper authorities and government agencies.
    4. For schools which opt to forego End of School Year Rites in coordination with the
    School PTA, this Office is disseminating guidelines and instruction on the division protocols
    - in the presentation, recommendation and confirmation of the completion or graduation of
    learners for strict compliance.

    5. Attached are templates to be used. A template for COMPLETION and a different


    template for GRADUATION are provided. Kindergarten and Junior High School will use the
    template for completion while Grade 6 and Senior High School shall use the template for
    graduation.

    6. Submission of these accomplished templates is held in abeyance until such time when
    the situation shall be officially declared as allowable. In the meantime, the preparation of
    these templates can be done on a work-at-home basis and submission shall be announced.
    School Heads are advised to wait for advisory from the Division . Office when these
    accomplished templates are to be submitted by the teachers.
