I. BUSINESS DESCRIPTION
The earth-shatters on every girl’s world as they accidentally drop their compact
powder or foundation to the ground. They treated it like their precious cellphone
and laptop, that’s why it has great possibility also to unexpectedly slip off on their
hands that will turn it into a million crumbled pieces.
As what Hidden in Makeup website plotted, 6 out of 10 women say they never go
to work without cosmetics. Those ladies have their difficulties with cosmetics that
could make them insane as they spent all of their expensive money on those kinds of
stuff. The 6th spot from the top 20 makeup problems made by Metdaan Editorial
Team is the problem of accidentally dropping of their makeup palette that makes
their hearts shatter as the powder, eyeshadow or any makeup in a pan, pulverizes.
The innovators come up with an idea on solving that 6th makeup problem. That
solution resulted in a product that could prevent the pressed powder to be broke
and shattered into pieces by having a case on it. A jelly-like and shockproof compact
powder case called “Sillycase’ is the gateway to make the most out of the product
‘till the very last particle of the powder.

Sillycase is a product for the compact powder of the women that answers one of
the common problems by using it in their daily lives, just like when they drop
their compact powder on the ground, it breaks the powder, their heart, and their
pocket because they need to buy a new one again.
Silly Case is made out of silicone that makes it cute and because of the silly face
that is part of the case that makes the case looks sillier, you may also include the
playful color and texture of the product. It is designed to be protection for the
compact powder that secures the powder to retain its shape when dropped.

Another heartbreak? Don’t be sorry for being clumsy, let us protect you with
something silly.
This USP focuses on one of the reasons why women got their hearts to be
broken. For many years, women have no security for their compact powder. And
now, the Silly Case product makes every woman assured that their loving
compact powder won't be broken. Not just that, but it also focuses on the
problem and also the solution for the said problem. Who would want to get their
heart to be broken and even their pocket as well? So, let me ask you again,
another heartbroken? Say a big NO! You can now prevent it.
III. TARGET MARKET

The target market of the product is mostly women starting at teenagers who use
compact powder. Our product doesn’t limit to ladies but it is for everyone who
needs it. Like for some makeup artists, professionals and anyone who works in the
cosmetics line. The age range of this product starts from 15 years old and above.
IV. PRICE (discuss your proposed price, strategy to use)

The price of the Sillycase is ₱59. It was based on costs:
₱68 -silicone glue
₱13 -acrylic paint
₱9 -transparent foil
₱90 Total cost
Therefore, ₱90÷2=₱45 cost
It will have a mark-up rate of 30% that makes the mark -on price is 58.5 and added
half a peso to make it ₱59 to apply psychological pricing.
V. ACCESSIBILITY (convenience)
Sillycase can be available on different social media platforms like Facebook and
Instagram. It can also have an account on Shoppee or Lazada for easier access where
the innovators can deliver it to the distributor from their home-based business.
They’re looking forward to putting it up on kiosks in different malls.
VI. MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Ingredients:
1.Silicone Glue 2.Caulk Gun 3. Acrylic Paint
4.Transparent foil 5.Compact powder 6.Hook-and-loop fastener
 



7.Goggling eyes 8.Decorative marker
Steps:
Step 1: With a transparent foil, wrap it around the compact powder case for
the molding process later.
Step 2: Set up the silicone glue to the caulk gun to release it, because it's
hard to do it with bare hands due to its hard casing.
Step 3: Get the bowl and pour cornstarch on it in more than half of the bowl.
Step 4: Then get the caulk gun with the silicone glue, press its trigger to
release the glue and add it together with the cornstarch with a sufficient
amount only.
Step 5: Mix the 2 ingredients with hands until it can be formed into a fluffy
circle like a bread. (It is suggested to use bare hands without any gloves for
better results.)
Step 6: If the mixture is like a dough, mold it unto the compact powder case.
Step 7: Let the molded one dry for at least 12 hours or one day for the best
outcome.
Step 8: If it is fully furnished, try to cut the molded case into enough size by a
sharp cutter to get the compact powder out from it.
*Since the Sillycase has two types of case, the pouchlike or personalized
cut type, it has different steps to do.
For Pouchlike:
Step 9: Just simply cut into half but not fully, just enough to make it like a
pouch that it has some space at the back portion of the case.
Step 10: Then add some goggling eyes and lips to make the case looks silly,
aaaand viola! You just made a jelly-like and shockproof case for your beloved
compact powder.
For Personalize cut type:
Step 9: Carefully cut into half the case, enough to leave space at back just a
little. This must perfectly fit your compact powder case so that you can open
and close with the Sillycase.
Step 10: To secure your compact powder, attach some small hook-and-loop
fastener at both sides of the case by using silicone glue or shoe glue only.
Step 11: Then add some goggling eyes and lips to make the case looks silly,
aaaand viola! You just made a jelly-like and shockproof case for your beloved
compact powder.
