Step 1 Description
Logon to the computer that will act as the Server. The server is
the computer with the printer attached to it.
#1 Video 1 Once logged on left-click Start, Settings, and left-click Printers.

#2 Video 1 After the Printers window opens right-click the printer that is
going to be shared, and click Properties.
#3 Video 1 In the printers properties window click the Sharing tab. Click the
Shared as radio button and enter a name that the printer will be
shared as. In this case the shared as: name is HPDeskJet600.
Click Apply then Ok
Step 2
#4 Video 2 Next Logon to the client computer, the computer without the
printer attached.
#5 Video 2 Once logged on click Start, Settings, and left-click Printers.

#6 Video 2 After the Printers window opens double-click the Add Printer
icon. The Add Printer Wizard will start.

#7 Video 2 Click Next to begin. Click the Network printer radio button, and
click Next.
#7 Video 2 The next screen is Locate Your Printer; click the Next button to
browse for a printer.
#8 Video 2 In the Shared printers window browse for the computer that has
the shared printer named HPDeskJet600. Once the printer is
found left-click to highlight the printer and click Next.

#9 Video 2 The final screen asks to make this printer as the default printer, if
the Yes radio button is marked click Next. Click Finish to
complete the installation of the shared network printer.
