Longevity:

1.What are the indications for full longevity?

1. Look at the sub lord of the Ascendant. If this sub lord is posited in the star
of a planet who is in the 1st, 5th, 9th or 10th, or owns any of these houses, this
tells us that the chart owner has a long life.
2. To make this a bit clearer, if the sub lord of the Ascendant is not in the
nakshatra of either the dispositor of - or lords of - the Maraka Sthanas (2nd or
7th) or Badhakas (11th house for Cardinal signs rising, 9th house for Fixed signs
rising, and 7th house for Mutable signs rising), a long life is indicated.

3. Harmonious indicators for longevity are judged by houses 1, 3, and 8, while

houses 2, 7, and 12 - along with the badhaka house, are detrimental for longevity.

4. If the cuspal sub lord of the Ascendant is the significator of the badhaka and
maraka houses, the life is short.

5. If the cuspal joint rulers (the sign lord, the star lord, and the sub lord) of
the Ascendant or the 8th house cusp are the significators of the badhaka and maraka
houses,
their joint period is very critical for life.

Suicide: -If the sub lord of the 8th cusp is deposited in the star of a planet
signifying Maraka or Bhadhaka houses and also the 8th house and well connected to
Mars, one is prone to suicidal death, due to the inability to return the borrowed
money, or limitless trading. If the lord of the 8th cusp sub is Mars and if he is
lord of or connected to Lagna and the 8th house and be a significator to 8th very
much, indicates unnatural death during the period of a planet who is the
Bhadhakathipathi Note that the Ayushkaraka planet Saturn should not be a
significator to the 8th house also.

4. Nature of death: Sub lord of the 8th cusp and its connections to other houses
through its star lord and the elements connected to both planets to be considered.
The 4 elements Fire, Earth, Air. And water counted from Mesham is to be remembered.
If the 8th cusp lord is in an Airy sign and if its star lord is in a watery sign,
the native is prone to drown while traveling by a flight. The 8th cusp indicates
danger and fatality.

5. About accident: Accidents can happen only when the 8th cusp sub lord is
deposited in the constellation of a planet signifying 8th house, and it happens in
the conjoined period of the significators to the 1st and 8th house. It will be
fatal death, only if the 8th sub lord is posited in the star of a Bhadhaka or
Maraka sthana significator.

6. The 8th house also denotes surgery. For one to undergo operation in his body,
the 8th cusp sub lord should be connected to the 6th house by occupation or by
signification, or the 12th house that indicates hospitalization. The same sub lord
of the8th cusp should be linked with Mars. Mars is a planet that indicates usage of
knives for surgery. Operations take place in the conjoined period of the
significators of 6th, 8th, and 12th

Mercury and suicide tendency

In vedic astrology, moon controls thoughts in our mind and mercury controls
our judgement.
When this mercury(budha) is afflicted by other planets, it gives us wrong
judgement and in few cases it provokes towards commiting suicide.
Saturn controls and decides our longevity and if it is connected to 8th
house, it very long lifespan.
When saturn is weak, it either kills the person in early age or gives
constant health issues.
Sun is the only planet which doesnt provoke suicide or any depressive
thought leading towards suicide.
Sun represents self-esteen, ego and superior nature and when it is strong, a
person never lets himself fall into depression, even though moon might try to
force him.
Even if sun is weak a person lack the willingness to fight with situations
and will compromise with his living conditions and in such cases, mercury
takes control and provokes suicide tendency.
Saturn decides if that person will actually die or not.
Mercury conjunction/affliction with other planets and mode of death in
suicide cases:
Mercury with Rahu : Consuming poison, pesticides, injecting poisonous
fluids, jumping off high buildings, suicide bombing etc.
Mercury with Moon : Drowning in wells, ponds, rivers, ocean etc
waterbodies.
Mercury with Ketu : Attempting suidice in holy places (believing that
dying there will attain salvation), consuming chemicals like potassium
cyanide, consuming excess dose of sleeping pills or drinking liquid mercury.
This also causes schizophrenia.
Mercury with Saturn : Sleeping on railway track, rash driving and
creating accidents, attempting suicides on roads, self stabbing, hanging with
rope.
Mercury with Mars : Suicide by slitting wrist or throat, setting
themselves on fire, self shooting with gun, giving self electric shocks.
Mercury with Venus : Attempting painless suicides like consuming drugs or
poison before sleep, self accidents etc.
Mercury with Jupiter : Suicide by practicing yogic methods like
pranayama, completely controlling respiration, attempting jeeva samadhi or by
performing own cremation
If no planet is afflicing mercury and still if sun and moon are weak, mercury
provokes depression and suicidal thoughts but will not give courage to
actually attempt suicide.
In Krishnamurti Paddathi, if the sub lord of the 8th cusp is deposited in the
star of a planet signifying Maraka or Bhadhaka houses and also the 8th house
and well connected to Mars, one is prone to suicidal death, due to the
inability to return the borrowed money, or limitless trading. If the lord of
the 8th cusp sub is Mars and if he is lord of or connected to Lagna and the
8th house and be a significator to 8th very much, indicates unnatural death
during the period of a planet who is the Bhadhakathipathi Note that the
Ayushkaraka planet Saturn should not be a significator to the 8th house
also.
When saturn is also weak and during bad dasa related to 2,7,8,12 houses, such
person will attempt suicide.
If Rahu is powerful and yogakarak in chart, this suicide attempt will fail.
If a person is identified with such horoscope, proper counselling and
performing Mrityunjaya homam, rudra homam and chanting/listening vishnu
sahasranamam will reduce the ill effects of saturn and mercury.
In future, many will commit suicides because of growing pressure in their
lifestyles and also for silly reasons.

Cuspal Sub Lord:
1. (a) The cuspal sub lord of a house under question indicates whether the matter
signified by that house is promised or not.
(b) The matter is promised if the cuspal sub lord is the significator (for example,
in
the star of the occupant or the owner) of that house or any one of the houses under
consideration.
(c) If the cuspal sub lord or its sub star lord is retrograde, the matter is
promised
when they turn direct.
(d) If the star lord (of this cuspal sub lord) is retrograde, the matter is not
denied, but it
will not materialize during the Mahadasha, Bhukti, or Pratyantardasha of this
cuspal sub
lord. however, it materializes during the dasha sequence of another significator
(of the
matter under question) whose star lord is direct in motion.
(e) As each house denotes several particular matters, the chief governor of the
matter
under question may be taken into account, and it should be connected with the star
lord
of the cuspal sub lord of the house under question.
2. (a) In the Prashna Chart, the Ascendant indicates the efforts of the querent,
while the
11th cusp shows the fulfillment of their desires or success in general.
(b) So if the cuspal sub lord of the Ascendant or the 11th cusp is the significator
of
the matter in question, the querent gets success in general.
(c) If the cuspal sub lord of the Ascendant or the 11th cusp is posited in house 1,
2, 3,
6, 10, or 11, or if it is in the star of the occupant of house 1, 2, 3, 6, 10, or
11, the
querent gets success in all undertakings. (The Ascendant denotes success in one's
efforts, the 2nd denotes monetary gain, the 3rd denotes help from others, the 6th,
being
12th to the 7th, indicates loss to the other and gain to the querent, the 10th
denotes
reputation, and the 11th denotes profits and gain. so these particular houses are
beneficial to the querent in general).
Significators:
1. (a) The significators show the time of an event.
(b) So note the significators of the house or houses which represent the matter
asked.
(c) Reject the significators which are in the star of a retrograde planet (because
it
cannot, during its period or sub period, give the results of its star lord).
(d) Out of these significators, give preference to those significators which are
found
among the following planets:
(1) Ruling Planets
(2) The sign lord, star lord, and sub lord of the cusp of the house under query.
(3) The cuspal sub lords of the houses under consideration.
(4) The joint period rulers (dashas) at the time of judgment. discretion should be
used while selecting the significators from the above planets.
(e) The query will materialize during the joint period (dashas) of these
significators
when the transit agrees.
Transit:
At the time of the event, Sun, Moon and/or the joint period rulers (dasha rulers)
will be
found in the star or sub of the same joint period ruler or rulers.
Imprisonment/Incarceration:
1. Imprisonment first and foremost must include a separation from the home or
domestic residence - so a change of residence should be very evident (12th from the
4th
- or 3rd house) if she is to be convicted, while at the opposite end (no prison
sentence) the 2nd shows a life with family members (11th from the 4th).
2, Restricted movements and confinement will be indicated by the 12th house and all
connections to the 12th. Malefics occupying the constellations of the planets
posited in
the 2nd and 12th, the occupants of these two houses owning malefic houses, malefic
planets in the constellations of the lords of these houses, along with the lords of
these
houses - would all threaten sentencing to include imprisonment/incarceration. If
the lord
of the 1st is also connected with any of these houses - then this also supports a
contention that imprisonment is a strong possibility.
3, Rahu is a chief significator for jail, so a malefic in the 2nd or 12th in the
star or sub
of Rahu - and connected with the 2nd or 12th - supports a sentence involving
prison.
Favorable aspects to the significators of the 12th house and/or the 12th cusp, and
hard
aspects to the significators of the 2nd house and/or 2nd cusp can also suggest an
unfavorable outcome - such as imprisonment.
Independent Business:
1. If the cuspal sub lord of the 10th is the significator of the 2nd, 7th, or 10th,
an
independent business or profession is promised during the joint period of the
significators of the 2nd, 7th, and 10th.
2. If the cuspal sub lord of the 7th is the significator of the 2nd, 10th or 11th,
gain in
business is promised during the joint period of the significators of the 2nd, 10th,
and
11th.
3. Consider the houses 2, 7 and 10 (7th is dealings with others, purchase and sale
of
production; it is the main house for business).

TRANSIT RULES

Prepare a ready reckoner for your daily use

1. The transiting planet is the source for an event.
2. The star lord of the transiting planet is the nature of results.
3. The sub lord of the transiting planet in a star is the deciding factor. These
are the simple and sure rules enunciated by our Sadhguruji.
4. Lords of houses 1-2-3-6-10-and 11, in their transit, when they form favorable
aspects they offer good results.
5. Lords of houses 4-5-7-8-9-and 12th in their transit, when they form evil
aspects, offer good results only.
6. The aspects should be read as per the western system only and not by Hindu
method.
7. The above said items 4th and 5th rules are to be referred to their radix
(original position at birth) in the chart, from the daily transit position of the
planet.
8. The improving houses, which are beneficial houses, which a planet forms evil
aspect in its transit, gives loss, either to the beneficial houses or to their
radix position at birth in their horoscope.
9. The evil or malefic houses such as 4-5-7-8-9-and the12th house lords, when they
form good aspects gives loss and untoward results to the houses 4-5-7-8-9- and 12th
or to their natal position at birth, A natal is the same meaning for a birth chart.

10. Do you remember the Western aspects, which are 19 in number? The GOOD AND BAD
western aspects are given in the page 8 of this document itself. A separate
document for the western aspects in detail is also available, which may be referred
