Most teachers rated assigning homework as highly important when using learner-centered, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate approaches. The most commonly used approaches were learner-centered, developmentally appropriate, relevant and responsive, research-based, and culture sensitive. The survey aims to inform homework policy based on how teachers integrate assignments into their lessons.
