1. How have you experienced globalization?


2. How is the Philippines central to the history of economic globalization?
3. One of the negative effects of globalization is the CoViD 19 pandemic that has happened all throughout the world in
2020; write a 150-word essay about the said topic.

Answers:
1. I have experienced globalization in a way that in the past time, there are just few of technologies I’ve seen in my area and
those technologies not easy to do like only the person who are using it can use it but as time goes by we’ve seen a lot of changes, we
are depending on our technology, most of us have that already and we can easily know how to use it. Like for example the
Smartphones today, we are able to know such different information what is happening in the world with the use of social media. And
because of that, We the Filipinos are the social media capital of the world.

2. In the history of economic globalization, Philippines has a major changes in the economy since 1995 when the Philippines
took part in signing agreements with World Trade Organization. There have been changes in the country such as more labor and more
companies that have emerged to help the economy. Globalization has been rapidly developing in the Philippines ever since the
influence of the United States during World War II. And today Many countries invest in our country and one of it is in Manila were
companies are huge and today in Cebu we all can see the changes in our naked eyes.

In this time of Pandemic, One of the negative effects of globalization is the CoViD 19 that has happened all
throughout the word in this year 2020. Most of the people working, studying and has a business were affected. It is difficult to make
adjustment on how to live in this time of crisis because the most priority today is our health and because of that our economic becomes
low and it is so hard to make it high again and again. Many students like me suffers on studying because of it and some were accepting
that it’s all they got and they easily quit on studying even though our government/school is making their best for us to continue. I know it
is hard to adjust but I know that I can make it and reach my goal. We just need patience and understanding in this time of pandemic
and again we all can achieved the day we all want to be.
