Activity Number: 1 Activity Name: Environmental Science: An Interdisciplinary Discipline

Environmental science is an interdisciplinary field that draws from many areas of study. It relates to social sciences like anthropology, political science, economics and psychology. It also intersects with applied sciences like engineering, computer science, and health-related fields. Additionally, environmental science is informed by natural sciences including geology, hydrology, ecology, meteorology, chemistry, physics and physiology. A concept map should be created showing the interrelationships between environmental science and these various contributing disciplines. An article must also be analyzed demonstrating the connection between environmental science and another field of study through figures, tables or graphs.
