INTRODUCTION
In the competitive nature of the fast food industry, few have stood tall and defied the
waves of futility that are caused by the megacorporations and popular brand names that have
existed since times. One such name that managed to withstand all those hardships is a local
fast food chain that goes by the simple name of Jollibee.

FUN FACT!
The name "Jollibee" was conceived by Manuel Lumba, a management consultant
It represents the Filipino spirit which was hardworking, optimistic, and most important of
all, being jolly. Bees, by nature, are hard-working insects and just like a typical working Filipino,
bees are “happy even though they’re busy.”

from starting as an ice cream parlor in 1975. The Company was incorporated in 1978 as Jollibee
Foods Corporation.

REVENUE/FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
The listed fast food giant booked a ₱6.33 billion net income for the year, down 14.4
percent from the ₱7.4 billion it made in 2018 as several acquisitions took a bite out of its profits.
