1.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1.1 The Interior Design requirements are described in Company’s Representative


(CR’s) Design Concept with Guidelines, Room Data Sheet, Material
Specification and Drawings. All these section’s are to be read collectively as
they form the total design requirements intended.

1.2 The ID Consultant shall adhere strictly to these Design Concept,


Specifications and Drawings in terms of general requirements and not limited
to the spatial requirements, finishes, performance and features.

1.3 The ID Consultant shall propose the kind of materials and workmanship as
described in the Specification. The quality of material and workmanship
described in the specifications are the minimum standard expected from the
ID Consultant and is required to comply.

1.4 The ID Consultant shall be responsible for producing and submitting for
comment and approval to the Main Contractor and CR’s all Tender Drawings,
Construction Drawings and other information related to the said project and
been coordinated with all the relevant scope. TheID Consultant shall carry out
but not limited to the following:
i) Shall Coordinate, anticipate and make provision to receive impacts as a
result of the other building elemants.
a) Architectural – Building grids , floor to floor height , floor levelling
b) Structural – Sizes and location, core areas
c) M&E – A/C duct , outlet, sprinklers, sanitary plumbing, special
light fitting, decorative face plate, switch point, HDSMATV point
d) Lighting
e) Acoustic /AV
f) Signages
g) BSS
h) ICT
i) GBI

2.0 DESIGN OBJECTIVE

The ID Consultant shall responsible to follow the approved Design Concept as


specified in the Drawing and as per Specification.
 The ID Consultant shall apply with latest By-Law rules and regulation of the
approving Authorities. A copy of correspondence with the Approving
Authorities shall be submitted to the CR’s
 To comply with the latest relevant international and local buildings standard,
codes and authorities.
 To optimize utilization of local finishes, materials, standards of construction
and workmanship and such other elements.

3.0 DESIGN CONCEPT

Generally, the Interior Design scope of area shall cover VIP/VVIP Building,
follow the approved interior layout plan and design concept as basic design
information.

The Above area shall be classified as follows:

First Floor - Reception Area

4.0 DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

The quality of standard performance of the areas shall be considered as the followings:

 Location of floor/wall/ceiling socket outlet shall be flexible enough to take into consideration of
the workstation, loose furniture, automatic roller blind system and wall equipments. All the
wiring and location of socket outlet shall be read in conjunction with the M&E consultant
drawing.

 Location of the floor outlet services boxes MUST NOT be in the middle of corridors /
hallways / passage way, under office chair, in the center of the room and any other areas as
determined by the CR’s

 Any discrepancy between the drawing, Design Concept and specification should be referred
to Client for further clarification and instruction. The Client shall make the final decision as to
which requirements prevails.

 All Construction drawings submission shall be complete and fit for review:

i. Drawings – Coordination drawings and must be coordinate between


architectural, M&E and related System Services shall be signed by respective
Consultant prior Client approval

ii. Related documents – to be submitted with drawing list, technical specification


method of statement, sample and etc.

 The selection of M&E final fittings to Special Space and Common Space are not limited to
switches , power socket outlet etc shall be in selected decorative finish, shall be approved by

Client

 All services on ceiling and wall shall be coordinated and integrated with ceiling / wall design
finishes and pattern.

 Cutting and fitting of interiors items as may be required to allow installation by others of
specified outlets, drains, lighting or other utility fittings.

5.0 SPACE PLANNING

The ID Consultant shall provide the approved Interior space planning (sign-off by the
Company ) as basic design information. The layout shall establish in general the types
and quality of finishes, work area and workmanship, Built-in furniture, furnishings and
others in related to the followings.
a) Reception counter, VIP/VVIP Room, common services, special spaces and others.
b) Plaster Ceiling configuration, standard and special lighting and glass mullion
c) Wall finishing & Panelling , Floor finish

6.0 SCOPE OF WORKS

6.1 PROJECT SITE & LOCATION

6.1.1 The site is located at Lapangan Terbang Sultan Ismail Petra, Kota Bahru , Kelantan Darul
Naim

6.2 GENERAL ID SCOPE OF WORKS

6.2.1 The Interior Design and Fit-Out areas shall cover VIP/VVIP Building ( Ground & 1st Floor )

GROUND FLOOR & 1st FLOOR

A. Wall Design
The ID Consultant to provide design , Tender Drawing & Construction drawing to the
floor / wall and ceiling work that has been approved by the Client.

B. Doors
The ID Consultant to provide design , selection of material Tender Drawing &
Construction drawing to the door work that has been approved by the Client.

C. Floor Design
The ID Consultant to provide design, selection of material , Tender Drawing &
Construction drawing to the floor that has been approved by the Client.

D. Ceiling Design
The ID Consultant to provide design , Tender Drawing & Construction drawing to the
ceiling work that has been approved by the Client.

E. Built-in Furniture
The ID Consultant to provide design , selection of material , Tender Drawing &
Construction drawing to the built in / joinery work that has been approved by the
Client.

F. Loose Furniture & Fittings


The ID Consultant to provide design , selection of material , spec sheet, Tender
Drawing & to the loose furniture work that has been approved by the Client.
