LCR Experiment

1. The document provides instructions for using an LCR resonance circuit apparatus with a built-in sine wave oscillator. 2. The apparatus allows the user to measure voltage and current characteristics of an LC circuit connected in either series or parallel configuration as the frequency is varied. 3. Key steps include connecting various resistor, inductor and capacitor combinations, adjusting the oscillator frequency, recording voltage and current measurements, and plotting the frequency response to observe the series or parallel resonance behavior.

FOR
LCRRESONANCE CIRCUIT (SERIES & PARALLEL)
With Built In Sine Wave Oscillator

LCR Resonance Circuit Appartus has been designed to plot the Frequency V/S Current

Characteristics of LC&Rwhen connected in Series & Parallel.

The instrument comprises ofthe following built in parts

sockets and

at sockets.
2 One inductance mounted inside the cabinet & connection brought out

Two AC moving coil meters to measure corresponding voltage & current.

4. Built in Sine wave oscillator of 100Hz to 100kHz.

PROCEDURE
