INTRODUCTION
In this section the juvenile term will be discussed in detail. Meaning and definitions pertaining to
term Juvenile is discussed. The problem of increment in Juvenile delinquency is discussed. The
juveniles are not only involved in crimes which are not serious in nature but also involved in
crimes which are heinous in nature. So the project will cover the change in laws related to
juveniles.
OBJECTIVES OF STUDY
The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Amendment Bill 2015 has been passed by
the Rajya Sabha. It was introduced in Parliament after public outrage because one of the
offenders in the 2012 gang rape case was a few months short of 18 years of age. The bill had
already been passed by the Lok Sabha. The main objective of the study is to analyse the impact
of The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 after its implementation.

project.
