The Ritual Most Get Wrong - And How To Correct This

Dear Magician,
Today we are going to examine the invoking form of the Lesser
Ritual of the Pentagram.
Most people are familiar with the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the
Pentagram, however as previously stated few people are actually
aware that it is only one part of a two-part ritual.
The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram has become
extremely popular in all forms of occult groups throughout the
decades.
This version has been borrowed endlessly, however, is still mostly
done incorrectly.
But what most have really missed is a gem that was buried within
the Lesser Ritual of the Pentagram, and that is the Lesser Invoking
Ritual of the Pentagram which is the brother to its sister form, the
Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.
When we examine closely the original papers the banishing version
was only referenced to the very end, the original paper is actually
referencing the invoking version, and although very vague and
meaning we can take this as implying that contrary to modern
popular belief, the invoking form is actually the most important out
of the two.
So to recap; quite surprisingly the original rituals written about in
the pentagram papers for the outer order were consistent in that
firstly the ritual described in full is known as the Lesser Ritual of
the Pentagram and not the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the
Pentagram.
And secondly as mentioned above the knowledge paper does not
mention in descriptive form the banishing ritual at all.
Other order papers mention that Neophytes especially should
perform the banishing version of the ritual at night and the invoking
version in the morning, without going into any further detail.
Experimentation has proven that one can get a deeper sleep when
performing the banishing ritual before retiring for the night.
And the influx of powerful protective energies and more profound
experiences when performing the invoking version in the morning
before setting out for the day.
The banishing is designed to protect by repelling the Sphere of
Sensation from the lower Astral parasites and connects the person to
their higher Self.
It can also be used to remove those undesirable parts of your
personality such as bad habits that you do not want and that is
hindering you.
The invoking ritual though is just as important in achieving this
result too, because the invoking allows you to bring things into your
life and energies into your life that you so desperately want and
need, and it also brings about your connection to the God-Force.
If we look at it from another angle what I am saying is, that the
Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram is the purification and
consecration aspect of the Neophyte 0=0 ceremony, meanwhile, the
invoking ritual actually mirrors those important aspects of the 0=0
ritual, which will draw your higher self to you.
If we take a look at the Neophyte ceremony, the Neophyte or
candidate, as we should refer him or her to begin is with, their
Sphere of Sensation (aura) is extremely black. In fact, it is black and
to such a degree that it is impossible to see the four pillars of their
Sphere of Sensation.
During the fourfold purification process, the candidate's aura is
cleared.
However, the candidate is also exposed to the God-Force, which is
represented by the visible and invisible God-Forms within the
Temple.
So herein lies the danger of years just doing the Lesser Banishing
Ritual of the Pentagram ritual, because and only doing this version
of the ritual, would not allow the above-mentioned God-Force to be
drawn into you.
Therefore quite clearly the modern obsession with the Banishing
Ritual of the Pentagram needs to be balanced, and you can do this
by making sure you are using the same amount of time performing
the invoking version of the ritual as you are and performing the
banishing.
As a complete spiritual practice, you should be performing and
using them both in a 50-50 ratio, keeping in mind that the invoking
should actually be emphasized as being the more important of the
two, over the banishing.
So here is how it works: the Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram will
protect you from internal and external negative forces whenever you
need it.
Therefore if you are being attacked by evil and negative forces you
would definitely use the banishing ritual to get rid of them as
protection, however, if you aren't being attacked by these forces
then you don't actually need to perform it.
Now if you want to attract and angelic force, you would need to use
the invoking one, meaning the Lesser Invoking Ritual of the
Pentagram before your working.
So if you are doing your general daily meditation you would
perform the invoking pentagram ritual because you would want to
gain information and beneficial energies from the God-Force.
However, if you are meditating on your own personal shortcomings
you would then do the banishing version because you would want to
get rid of something inside if you that is undesirable. When you are
performing the Middle Pillar exercise you would begin with the
invoking pentagram version because you would want to draw the
powers of those divine names to you, then the banishing version
afterwards for general protection.
Besides a drawing of the forces to you, the invoking pentagram has
a very direct effect on the Magician performing it.
Instead of becoming guardians and protectors, the Angels and
Divine Names work differently when you perform an invoking
pentagram, in this case, you are drawing their energies into your
Sphere of Sensation, and over a period of time, this would result in a
tremendously positive effect on your overall spiritual life.
It would also be beneficial to perform the Invoking Ritual of the
Pentagram when the moon is waxing to draw positive things into
your life and the banishing when the moon is waning to get rid of
things from your life.
