1. Define organizational structure. Then, identify what are some of the


factors that may influence a company’s decision to adopt a type of
organizational structure? Explain your answers.

An organizational structure could be a framework that traces how


certain exercises are coordinated in arrange to attain the objectives of
an organization. These exercises can incorporate rules, parts,
and obligations. The organizational
structure too decides how data streams between levels inside the
company. And the factors that may affect a company’s decision are
losing in marketplace, decreasing income or profit, low skill of its
people or employees and falling sales. Part of adopting organizational
structure is when a company suffering from obtaining stable condition
in market.

2. What are the criteria used in evaluating organizational structures? Give


the importance of each criterion.
The organization/company is subject to many factors like
technological breakthroughs by competitors, change in
costumer’s lifestyle, those that are environmental in nature. The
importance of technological breakthrough by competitor in
evaluating organizational structures is give the company a idea to
improve their product to more competitive in a marketplace.
Change in costumer’s lifestyle are common in this day, there are
difference in want and needs by the time pass by so the company
needs to know the style of the environment of its target market.
And lastly those that are environmental in nature, in this part the
company is going to consider the environment that they are into
so they can easily adopt what is the work of nature needs.

3. Define organizational leadership. What competencies and skills should


a leader possess? Give examples.

Organizational leadership is a management approach in which leaders help


set strategic goals for the organization while motivating individuals within
the group to successfully carry out assignments in service to those goal.
The Competencies and skills should a leader possess are:
 Problem-solving and decision-making
 Communicating (especially listening) effectively
 Relationship- and team building (including developing leadership
potential in others)
 Identifying future innovations and opportunities
 Understanding your business environment and operations
 Using integrity and ethics
 Thinking strategically, system-wide, and holistically
 Spreading the organization’s vision and inspiring others to share in that
vision

4. When is an employee described as satisfied? Is money always a


satisfier for an employee?
When an employee encounters a feeling of substance within
the working environment. Any or all the taking after for the most
part bring worker fulfillment: satisfactory compensation, periphery ben
efits and motivations, positive interpersonal connections between and
among administration and employees,
and satisfactory conditions within the work environment. In this way,

5. In starting organization, how important is having modern facilities and
equipment? Explain your answer.

Another important component of the organizational environment is the


facilities and equipment. Having a modern facilities and equipment are
a big help to be more efficient in workplace. Not only because it helps
the employee to make their task easily but also to improves company’s
capability in producing product and services. In this modern world an
organization should also have a modern equipment and facilities for
theme more competitive in marketplace.
