    ● What are the Consequences od these GBV in terms of:

    a. Social Consequences - for survivors themselves as well as for families and


    communities. In extreme cases this violence can lead to severe disability or even
    death but even inless severe cases VAW impacts on the everyday lives of women
    and girls.
    b. Economic Consequences - negatively impacts the world of work. It is described
    by many as the most prevalent human rights violation in world, with atleast one in
    the three women globally estimated to have been coeced into sex, physically
    beaten, or otherwise abused in her lifetime.
    c. Health Consequences - threatens women's health world adding to the global
    burden of disease and harmful impact of reproductive health. Moreover it is
    estimated that among women in violent relationships in their twenties and thirties
    half experience forced sexual intercourse from abusive partner.
    2. Search the Internet for news regarding GBV cases, Analyze the news and identify the
    instructions, the survivor and perpectuator and the rights violation.
    ● Along some migrant routes, half or more of women surveyed reported experiencing
    sexual assault during the journey, and many take birth control to avoid becoming
    pregnant from rape.

    violence.

    3. These are the behaviour or actions used by one person to control or dominate the other, it is a
    pattern of abusive behavior in any relationship that is used by one partner to gain or maintain
    power over another.
